STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I would give 0 star (or even negative) if I could. This whole experience with Safe Ship has been a nightmare. Starting from pick up to current. They picked up my stuff on 7/9 and I still haven't received it. I was initially told it usually takes 14-21 business days. Before the pick up, I was given the pick up window (1-2 days) and told to be notified at least 24 hours in advance for the exact date & time of pick up. However, they never contacted me and I had to call them first and that was when I got notified of the exact pick up date and time, which was the night before (~10 hours before). What if I didn't call them first? Were they going to notify me the morning of like 2 hours before they come? They never communicate clearly and will always give you the "estimate", which they will tell you it's "NOT guaranteed". And it's been more than a month and I'm still waiting to receive my shipment. And there was not a single communication that was initiated by Safe Ship. I always have to call them first or open a ticket for them to provide me any update. When I called this Tuesday, I was told that the truck has left on Monday and it will be arriving either this Friday or Saturday. When I called again on Thursday because I needed to know if they were coming on Friday, now they were telling me the truck has left on Wednesday and it will be arriving either Sunday or Monday. They lie to you and will never give you the exact ETA. I have a few moving experiences, but this has been the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm not a type of person who normally leaves a review but I had to for Safe Ship, to help other people to not go through this nightmare. Do NOT use Safe Ship for your move, and you're welcome.

Great value!
On the day of the move, McNiel moving crew came 2 hours late without informing me. They worked hard to ensure my things were safe and delivered them on time. When they got there, not a single thing was broken or missing

Great Pick Up!
I am moving to a different state and the team packed up everything quickly and were still very kind even though they had to deal with my apartment’s freight elevator issues (that were not their fault). Would 100% recommend!

Best experience with any moving company!!!
I genuinely had a very smooth and easy experience with this company. They were very helpful, the communication was great and everything was perfectly on time and quick. And for the price, you get exactly what you pay for. Would highly recommend using this company.

Bait & Switch
Initial estimate for 350 cubic feet came in at a reasonable price. However, after adjusting for count changes, cubic feet doubled. That’s on us. However, they wanted to charge 3x the initial quoted price at the door. Felt like a bait and switch. We canceled and would rather lose the deposit than accept this scam. We were told during the initial sale that they wouldn’t do this and that feels like a lie. To add insult to injury, they told the movers that I had changed my mind about the pricing, and then never informed them that I'd canceled - leaving the drivers sitting outside for 3 hours after my last call before we had to tell them ourselves that we canceled. Poor communication, poor business practices, did not provide their movers with equipment they needed including dollies, braces, etc., and did not keep them informed. Bad business all around.

Move
The crew did a good job wrapping our items and getting us loaded. The company itself did try to add expense 2 times. Gave the impression when we spoke to them that everything was covered, but then moved to talking about square feet reserved. Need to be more clear with customer on phone.

Horrible moves
1.Star Review Stay away from Safe Ship. The entire process felt misleading from start to finish. They quoted one price, then before pickup they called for a so-called “quality assurance” review and acted like inventory specialists, only for the cost to suddenly increase. By then, you’re already worried about losing your deposit if you cancel. The carrier they assigned to my move was We Haul Moving Services, and the experience only got worse from there. Communication was poor, pricing changed unexpectedly, and I felt pressured throughout the process. Instead of transparency, it felt like I was being pushed into accepting higher charges at the last minute. I would never use Safe Ship again and would strongly recommend that anyone considering them read the cancellation policy very carefully before paying a deposit. One of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had.

Miving from California to New Mexico
Dwight and Don showed up 3/25/26 to pick up the furniture.they were awesome ,very polite ,helpful ,fast st packaging and highly recommend using this company David and Sons moving &trucking..Now just waiting on the delivery of our stuff to the house in NM.thank-you guys

Do Not Use This Broker
Do not use SafeShip!!!! The worst service. They doubled our price after hooking us up with a moving company that brought the wrong size truck. Had over a month to find someone to ship our car and we still do not have it. Boxes marked fragile were packed on the bottom of heavy boxes. Even found footprints on boxes that had been walked on. The sales people and service people do not speak to each other so every time you call there's a different answer for the same questions. My boyfriend has a broken leg so we needed a company that would put boxes in the rooms as they were labeled. Movers got here and said they didn't do that. All boxes dumped in one room. SafeShip brokered this move, took our $16k and dipped. Hire local movers yourself. This company in no way will help make your move easier

Good
Everything came within the time window and service was good. 4 person crew came and got it done quickly. They assembled my items that were brought as part of the move as well. The crew was friendly and helpful.
