STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I would give 0 star (or even negative) if I could. This whole experience with Safe Ship has been a nightmare. Starting from pick up to current. They picked up my stuff on 7/9 and I still haven't received it. I was initially told it usually takes 14-21 business days. Before the pick up, I was given the pick up window (1-2 days) and told to be notified at least 24 hours in advance for the exact date & time of pick up. However, they never contacted me and I had to call them first and that was when I got notified of the exact pick up date and time, which was the night before (~10 hours before). What if I didn't call them first? Were they going to notify me the morning of like 2 hours before they come? They never communicate clearly and will always give you the "estimate", which they will tell you it's "NOT guaranteed". And it's been more than a month and I'm still waiting to receive my shipment. And there was not a single communication that was initiated by Safe Ship. I always have to call them first or open a ticket for them to provide me any update. When I called this Tuesday, I was told that the truck has left on Monday and it will be arriving either this Friday or Saturday. When I called again on Thursday because I needed to know if they were coming on Friday, now they were telling me the truck has left on Wednesday and it will be arriving either Sunday or Monday. They lie to you and will never give you the exact ETA. I have a few moving experiences, but this has been the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm not a type of person who normally leaves a review but I had to for Safe Ship, to help other people to not go through this nightmare. Do NOT use Safe Ship for your move, and you're welcome.

Trust me this company is terrible !!
When my belongings finally arrived, several pieces of furniture were wet and smelled musty. It’s clear that they were not stored or transported properly. My mattress was ruined, and several boxes had water damage, making the contents unusable. They offered no apology or reimbursement and told me it wasn’t their responsibility. Absolutely unacceptable.

Cancelled Move vs Customer Service
Moving services were not utilized. This is a review of Safe Ship Customer Service. Due to an unfortunate and unexpected injury, our move had to be pushed back indefinitely, or possibly need to continue residing in TN. Our sincere appreciation to customer service representative Anthony Davis for expediting the cancellation of our moving contract. Thank you, Safe Ship, for adhering to your 72 hour cancellation policy.

DO NOT USE. SCAM COMPANY
If I could give zero stars I would. This is a warning to anyone considering using this moving service, DO NOT!!! Unless you want to be ripped off and feel bamboozled every step of the way of an already very stressful time. This is a well oiled machine and they know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to SCAMMING customers. First we had a video call with someone who literally laid eyes on everything we had to move and gave us a quote. Fast forward to a couple of days before the move was scheduled for, we had another call (not video) to “finalize” and go over everything again to make sure they had everything correct and “enough space in the truck”. Lo and behold - the guy says “this is way different than what I had here in front of me from your initial VIDEO call” and proceeds to MORE THAN DOUBLE the initial estimate we were given. This was a few days before we were supposed to move - giving us very limited options or time to find any other option. Since we felt that at that point starting over would be extremely stressful and not a realistic option - we went along with this absurd new price. Basically every step of the way, additional charges continued to be added, we paid for expedited delivery and our stuff came days later than promised. Please, for the love of god, save yourself the headache and massive loss of money and go with a reputable moving company as this sad excuse of a business is nothing but a SCAM.

Packers and movers were great. Very thorough. Highly recommend for moves including Heaney or fragile items.

Rude
I scheduled my move weeks in advance and confirmed the appointment the day before, but the movers didn’t show up on the scheduled day. I called multiple times and got no response. When someone finally answered, they claimed there was a scheduling error and said the earliest they could reschedule was three days later. I was left scrambling to find a last-minute replacement. Completely unreliable and unprofessional.

Perfectly fast moving company
Rudy, Carlos and Ilia were the sweetest and most helpful movers I have ever had the pleasure of conducting business with. Even when we hit a bump in the road and I got emotional they were very patient with me and worked with me to resolve the issue. They were even helpful and sweet enough to help me pack my car and take out the trash which they didn’t have to do.

Bait & Switch
Initial estimate for 350 cubic feet came in at a reasonable price. However, after adjusting for count changes, cubic feet doubled. That’s on us. However, they wanted to charge 3x the initial quoted price at the door. Felt like a bait and switch. We canceled and would rather lose the deposit than accept this scam. We were told during the initial sale that they wouldn’t do this and that feels like a lie. To add insult to injury, they told the movers that I had changed my mind about the pricing, and then never informed them that I'd canceled - leaving the drivers sitting outside for 3 hours after my last call before we had to tell them ourselves that we canceled. Poor communication, poor business practices, did not provide their movers with equipment they needed including dollies, braces, etc., and did not keep them informed. Bad business all around.

Horrible moves
1.Star Review Stay away from Safe Ship. The entire process felt misleading from start to finish. They quoted one price, then before pickup they called for a so-called “quality assurance” review and acted like inventory specialists, only for the cost to suddenly increase. By then, you’re already worried about losing your deposit if you cancel. The carrier they assigned to my move was We Haul Moving Services, and the experience only got worse from there. Communication was poor, pricing changed unexpectedly, and I felt pressured throughout the process. Instead of transparency, it felt like I was being pushed into accepting higher charges at the last minute. I would never use Safe Ship again and would strongly recommend that anyone considering them read the cancellation policy very carefully before paying a deposit. One of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had.
