We weren’t moving far, but we had a ton of oddly shaped furniture and vintage pieces that don’t handle well in transit. The movers we hired from this company didn’t rush through the job. They took the time to wrap everything right and maneuver it all carefully through tight doorways. The move only took a few hours, but the quality of service was far above what we’ve seen in the past. I run a small photography studio, and relocating all my camera gear, tripods, softboxes, and computers made me extremely nervous. Regal Van Lines exceeded my expectations in every way. Their team arrived with custom-fit crates for my fragile equipment and offered to transport my temperature-sensitive camera lenses in a climate-controlled van—I didn’t know that was an option! They used zip ties to secure my cables and neatly packed everything so it was easy to set up at the new space. Regal Van Lines isn’t just a moving company—they’re a logistics powerhouse that understands the unique needs of small business owners.
Just a quick message to say thank you to all at Regal Van Lines. My father had to go into a care home today. Some of his items from his flat went to the care home, and the other items went back to mine. From start to finish, there was no problem. If we ever need a moving company in the future, I will 100% use them again.
I moved out of a high-rise building with super strict elevator rules and time limits. The movers showed up early, coordinated with the front desk, and successfully removed everything without a single complaint. They moved quickly without cutting corners. I was seriously impressed with how they handled such a tricky building situation. It was clear that they had done high-rise moves before.
As soon as the movers left, they called to update us and confirm the arrival window. Everything felt well-organized and thought through.
In September 2024, we contracted with Regal Van Lines to move our household goods from Tucson, AZ to Drain, OR. We also solicited multiple quotes to move a 45’ High Cubic shipping container between the same locations. Regal Van Line’s quote was the lowest, and because we had already contracted with them to move our household goods, and because we had not yet encountered their Bait and Switch tactics (described in FMCSA Report 181749567), on 10/01/2024, we also contracted with them to move the shipping container. Their pricing estimate was $5,000, and we were required to make a $2,000 advance payment. They were supposed to pick up the container on 10/27/2024. They never, ever, ever moved the shipping container. I called them at least 6 times to find out the status and when it would be moved. Every time, I was given an excuse for why my questions could not be answered at the time, and a promise to call me back before the end of the day. Not one time did I ever receive the promised call back. I presume that because they encountered such an enormous push back on their Bait and Switch tactic to move our household goods, they decided it would not be prudent or feasible to try to do it on the shipping container, also. Regardless of the reason, the fact is that they never ever made any attempt whatsoever to move our shipping container. Two and half months later, we contracted with another carrier who moved the container in less than a week for about $8,300. We have followed Regal Van Lines procedures to contest charges or request a refund. We have received no response whatsoever from them. At this point, in regards specifically to the shipping of the container, they have $2,000 of our money, refuse to give it back, and have taken no actions whatsoever to move the container. It was still sitting in its original location as of 12/19/24 (it was picked up on that date by the other carrier).
There were many delicate items in my shipment and the crew ensured every box was handled very carefully. All the dinnerware arrived and it was all in perfect shape. I’m very happy I picked this company.
