DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had a horrible experience with this company. They lied to us multiple times including misleading us on the pricing by quoting. They did not move all of our belongings. Delivery was late and only one man showed up to unload our stuff up a flight of stairs. We did not get all of our belongings and we ended up with a box that was not ours. Zero customer service as they don't return calls or emails.
I was leaving my TX state and I had a lot of valuable things such as a vintage piano. The team dismantled it and wrapped it up and reassembled it so meticulously at my new home. It came scratch free and they took an unmatched care for my belongings.
I contracted them to shift my duplex and they handled my furniture with the same care as if it belonged to them. The crew members took the time to provide floor protection for my hardwood surfaces throughout the relocation.
I relocated my small business from a shared office to a home workspace. There were desks, file cabinets, and a few computers that I needed to handle carefully. The team was focused and careful from the start. They labeled everything clearly so I knew what went where, and it helped me avoid downtime. It felt like they understood that it wasn't just stuff, it was my work.
In September 2024, we contracted with Regal Van Lines to move our household goods from Tucson, AZ to Drain, OR. We also solicited multiple quotes to move a 45’ High Cubic shipping container between the same locations. Regal Van Line’s quote was the lowest, and because we had already contracted with them to move our household goods, and because we had not yet encountered their Bait and Switch tactics (described in FMCSA Report 181749567), on 10/01/2024, we also contracted with them to move the shipping container. Their pricing estimate was $5,000, and we were required to make a $2,000 advance payment. They were supposed to pick up the container on 10/27/2024. They never, ever, ever moved the shipping container. I called them at least 6 times to find out the status and when it would be moved. Every time, I was given an excuse for why my questions could not be answered at the time, and a promise to call me back before the end of the day. Not one time did I ever receive the promised call back. I presume that because they encountered such an enormous push back on their Bait and Switch tactic to move our household goods, they decided it would not be prudent or feasible to try to do it on the shipping container, also. Regardless of the reason, the fact is that they never ever made any attempt whatsoever to move our shipping container. Two and half months later, we contracted with another carrier who moved the container in less than a week for about $8,300. We have followed Regal Van Lines procedures to contest charges or request a refund. We have received no response whatsoever from them. At this point, in regards specifically to the shipping of the container, they have $2,000 of our money, refuse to give it back, and have taken no actions whatsoever to move the container. It was still sitting in its original location as of 12/19/24 (it was picked up on that date by the other carrier).
A terrific experience! They handled our cross-country move flawlessly, and ensured everything arrived exactly as it left. Remarkable job!
The movers' positive attitude and calm manner alleviated some of my anxiety during the move, which is no small feat. They were very careful and even asked me how I would like the stuff stored on the vehicle.
I used Regal Van Lines for a move from a townhouse into a smaller space, and the layout made everything harder than it needed to be. Tight corners, low ceilings, all of it. They stayed calm, figured it out, and didn’t damage a thing. They brought tools, took apart a bed frame for me, and even helped reassemble it. I was really impressed by how smooth it all went.
Regal Van Lines helped us relocate after selling our family home of 20 years. Their movers were respectful of our sentimental items and packed everything with care. Everything was packed and delivered safely within the quoted time. Their kindness and professionalism made a bittersweet move much easier to handle!
