Although packing our delicate ceramics collection was daunting, the movers took great care to treat each item. For optimal protection, they packed, cushioned, and padded every component. Because of their superb packing, we received our collection undamaged. They have our sincere gratitude!
We downsized from a big house to a small apartment, and fitting everything was a puzzle. The crew was brilliant – they carefully measured, and packed tightly without damage. Their problem-solving saved us from a headache and made the move surprisingly easy!
I was nervous about relocating the old baby grand piano that I inherited from my grandma. The team arrived with padding, harnesses, and a piano dolly. They carefully dismantled the pedal system and legs, ensuring nothing was damaged. To make everything look seamless in the living room, they also reassembled it and moved it to their new home.
Regal may offer low prices, but it comes at a high cost. They show no regard for their customers—promising a delivery date and price, only to hand you off to a different shipper who’s completely unaware of the agreed terms. From that point on, you’re stuck dealing with delays and confusion. Regal’s customer service is unhelpful at best and dismissive at worst. They take no responsibility, instead blaming everything on the carrier they chose to broker. If reliability, accountability, and basic communication matter to you, steer clear.
I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
Total lifesavers! I had one day to pack and move or risk losing my lease. I called this company out of desperation, and they showed up within hours – with boxes, tape, and enough manpower to get me packed and out before the day ended. That kind of response time is hard to find, and I’ll never hesitate to hire them for future relocations!
Just a quick message to say thank you to all at Regal Van Lines. My father had to go into a care home today. Some of his items from his flat went to the care home, and the other items went back to mine. From start to finish, there was no problem. If we ever need a moving company in the future, I will 100% use them again.
