Regal Van Lines made my move so much easier than I ever imagined. From start to finish, their team was friendly, attentive, and treated my belongings like their own. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Even though it is never simple to move with dogs, the crew was great. They made sure my dog was out of harm's way and helped me arrange her bed and toys as soon as I arrived at the new place. It had immense significance for me.
My initial contact with them made me confident about the excellent service they would provide. The team demonstrated professionalism along with organization and worked hard to execute a trouble-free move. The staff took special care of my possessions while maintaining my comfort at all times during the moving process.
The whole time, from the first call until they said goodbye, everything fell into place. Every piece of furniture was covered and strapped down to stay safe in the car. I’m amazed at how smooth the travel went. Not even one thing was about to break.
I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
They moved several priceless antiques for me, and I could not believe how meticulously they wrapped them. They took their time and used extra padding to ensure everything arrived in pristine shape. These folks know what they are doing.
I hired this team to help me relocate to a different state. Jack and his crew arrived early and brought extra packing supplies just in case. They started by wrapping all my furniture with care, using thick blankets to protect the edges. My couch was tricky to get out the door, but they figured it out without a single scratch. Roger taped down the cushions for stability, which I hadn’t thought of. The way they organized the boxes on the truck was thoughtful—fragile items were at the top, and heavier boxes were secured at the bottom. Once we got to the new place, they rolled out mats to keep my floors clean and didn’t leave any marks on the walls while maneuvering the furniture.
Our spiral staircase made moving tricky, but the movers handled it flawlessly. No damag, just pure skill and teamwork.
In September 2024, we contracted with Regal Van Lines to move our household goods from Tucson, AZ to Drain, OR. We also solicited multiple quotes to move a 45’ High Cubic shipping container between the same locations. Regal Van Line’s quote was the lowest, and because we had already contracted with them to move our household goods, and because we had not yet encountered their Bait and Switch tactics (described in FMCSA Report 181749567), on 10/01/2024, we also contracted with them to move the shipping container. Their pricing estimate was $5,000, and we were required to make a $2,000 advance payment. They were supposed to pick up the container on 10/27/2024. They never, ever, ever moved the shipping container. I called them at least 6 times to find out the status and when it would be moved. Every time, I was given an excuse for why my questions could not be answered at the time, and a promise to call me back before the end of the day. Not one time did I ever receive the promised call back. I presume that because they encountered such an enormous push back on their Bait and Switch tactic to move our household goods, they decided it would not be prudent or feasible to try to do it on the shipping container, also. Regardless of the reason, the fact is that they never ever made any attempt whatsoever to move our shipping container. Two and half months later, we contracted with another carrier who moved the container in less than a week for about $8,300. We have followed Regal Van Lines procedures to contest charges or request a refund. We have received no response whatsoever from them. At this point, in regards specifically to the shipping of the container, they have $2,000 of our money, refuse to give it back, and have taken no actions whatsoever to move the container. It was still sitting in its original location as of 12/19/24 (it was picked up on that date by the other carrier).
