I was wrong to think a long-distance transfer would go smoothly with this company. My stuff was picked up in one state and delivered two days later, as promised. While driving, the driver informed me of their expected arrival time. After arriving, the staff carefully unloaded and checked everything off the inventory list. All my boxes and furniture arrived intact. Their consistency amazes me.
The movers disassembled my gigantic sleigh bed, and wrapped it up nicely for transport and then reassembled it with not a single screw missing. They never hurried, or became careless, and their attitude, positive as it was, turned a chore into a pleasure.
Even though I only needed help moving a few big items, the crew treated the job seriously. They arrived on time, were polite, and handled my antique armoire with care.
I booked Regal Van Lines to help move my home office setup, including a bunch of electronics and cables I hadn't organized at all. They labeled boxes without me asking, wrapped up the monitors like pros, and even suggested where to place things at the new place to avoid clutter. Saved me a bunch of headaches later on.
I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
Regal Van Lines helped us relocate after selling our family home of 20 years. Their movers were respectful of our sentimental items and packed everything with care. Everything was packed and delivered safely within the quoted time. Their kindness and professionalism made a bittersweet move much easier to handle!
The job was finished in record time because they always showed up on time and worked hard. They took great care of our things and made sure that both the old and new places were safe.
