I moved from Los Angeles to Phoenix and was nervous because I had never hired movers for an out-of-state relocation before. Pure Relocation Services gave me a written quote and explained the delivery window. I liked that they did not promise an impossible exact time. The movers packed my TV, wrapped the bed frame, and used blankets on my dresser and nightstands. The narrow hallway in my old apartment made things difficult, but they handled it without scraping the walls. Delivery was within the promised window, and the crew called before arriving. A couple boxes were dusty from the truck, but everything inside was fine. I was happy with the service.
We used Pure Relocation Services for a move from Boston to New York, and I was mainly concerned about fragile items. We had a glass dining table, framed artwork, mirrors, and several boxes of dishes. The crew used packing paper, bubble wrap, cardboard protection, and moving blankets where needed. They took their time with the fragile pieces, which I appreciated. The elevator at the new building was small, so they had to angle some items carefully. Nothing was cracked or chipped. The final price was slightly higher because we added packing for the glass table, but I was fine with that since it arrived safely. I would rather pay a little more than deal with damage.
Anyone who has moved in New York knows the distance can be short and the move can still be complicated. Our old building had tight stairs, a narrow hallway, and basically no convenient parking. What I liked most was that they didn't slam things into walls just because space was tight. Both apartments came through without noticeable damage to the door frames, and our furniture arrived safely

They wrapped our sectional sofa, took apart two beds, and used shrink wrap on several dressers. They also kept the kids’ bedroom boxes together, which helped when we got to the new house. The delivery was on time, and nothing important was damaged. It was still a long day, but they made it much less overwhelming.
The packing team brought boxes, packing paper, and bubble wrap and got through it surprisingly quickly. Glasses were individually wrapped and the heavier dishes were packed in smaller boxes rather than overloaded ones.
We moved from Seattle to Portland and used Pure Relocation Services for the main furniture and boxes. The crew was polite and careful, especially with our dining table and king-size mattress. They wrapped the furniture well and used dollies for the heavier garage items. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the delivery was later in the day than I expected. They did call and explain the delay, and everything still arrived the same day. Nothing was damaged, and the price stayed close to the estimate. Overall, I would use them again, but I would plan my day with a little extra flexibility.
I've moved apartments with friends before, and it usually turns into an all-day event involving somebody's pickup truck and a lot of bad decisions. This time I hired movers. The movers had everything out much faster than I would have. They wrapped the furniture and carried the TV separately instead of tossing it between boxes.
The packing crew handled books, kitchen items, closets, artwork, electronics, and a ridiculous amount of miscellaneous household stuff. They used wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes and clearly marked the boxes by room. The next day, the moving crew wrapped the furniture and loaded everything. We had a three-bedroom home plus a small home office, so there was plenty to move.
