Moving day was simple thanks to Perfectly fast moving. Dan and Michael packed everything securely, delivered fast, and the price was very reasonable. Both the sales team and customer service stayed in touch and kept us informed throughout.
The movers came to pick up my items. You guys estimated just way over what Safe ship said it would. I paid 1128 upfront to them and then it was supposed to be roughly 850 upon pick up and $850 on delivery or even plus $500 for various other things. Their estimate after loading my items ended up being just under 4,000! That’s after my upfront payment. I gave them $850 in pick up I told them I can not afford that estimated amount upon delivery. I even left my living room end table and chest of drawers from my bedroom and various other items. If I had known it would end up costing that much I would have gone with another company. I live alone, am a below the knee amputee, and am not in a financial position to pay that kind of money. Plus packed is my other prosthesis and various other assistive devices needed to function daily. They have those in possession. All my things were already in the moving truck before realizing the high estimate. I needed to vacate my apartment as my lease was over 7/1. This was 6/29/24. This is bad practice on both sides. Safe ship and Perfectly fast movers. I can understand a $500 difference but not $2,000. That’s just ridiculous. I’m going to need assistance from to remedy this situation so that I can get my items delivered upon arrival once they are able to deliver. There needs to be better communication between Safe ship and you the moving company to make sure customers are better prepared for what will actually be charged. because in the end you are screwing your customers royally. I’m not going to be that one. Because I literally don’t have the money. I budgeted for the estimated cost, plus a few extra hundred dollars but that’s it. Again please assist me with this matter. The workers are very efficient and professional. They did a great job packing and moving. They used protections to prevent from damaging our house and furniture. Will use them next time. Highly recommend
These Guys are AWESOME!! They worked hard the WHOLE time. They genuinely cared about my stuff. Peek the Grandfather clock behind them….not a scratch or broken in any way! That is an accomplishment! They were mindful of the walls to be sure not to ding/scratch. Very successful move!! They were very flexible on the time. Originally had it set up to pack/pick up and store for the week and deliver on a Saturday. Thankfully they were willing to power through to complete it all in one day, which ended in a downpour and no power! Very professional and polite. I will be calling them for my next move!!! I can’t thank you guys enough, you guys ROCKED!!
These guys were on time called ahead when they were about 30 minutes out, which they had promised, and they did follow through on. They pay close attention to detail and their professionalism was impeccable. They were very respectful of my furniture how they handled it how they wrapped it and how they moved it into the truck. They were both very Experienced. That was very obvious in the way they packed and wrapped everything and we're very good at communicating throughout the entire process during the pick up day. They even complimented us on our preparation for them coming and we just worked very well together. Nikita was very diligent in completing all the important paperwork and explaining any variations in the whole process. He managed the project extremely well no complaints whatsoever there. I hope they're available if I have to make another move as I feel like they are a step above some of the other companies that are out there in their same company size. I would highly recommend them; as the consumer I would pay close attention to your inventory as that is what builds the quote and if it is not accurate, then there could be unpleasant monetary surprises. Highly recommend them.
