This was my Fourth move with OM Van Lines. Always do a great job. Careful with packing and moving challenging pieces. I had a great crew, Santos, Manny and Wilson for the second time. Highly recommend them.
Do not use this company. They will do multiple video calls to make you feel comfortable about the quote, yet on the day of move they will bump up the cubic feet requirements astronomically. I was give 3 different quotes over video call that ranged from 1300 cubic feet to 1600 cubic feet. On the day of move I was charged for 2500 cubic feet. However, when my items were delivered the content only occupied 1200 cubic feet. Stay away from this company. I have an ongoing complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. But it seems the company knows how to navigate those hurdles at consumer's dissatisfaction and cheating. STAY AWAY!!! Do not let George or Michelle convince you otherwise that the online reviews are fake or that customer added lot of items last minute. I have a proof that shows my content was less than 1200 cubic feet. When I submitted that proof, I was offered $500 to settle without them admitting any wrongdoing while they had over charged me by $2500.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Professional during entire process and always transparent with pricing. If/when I move again, OM Van Lines will be my first call. Thank you!
If I could give zero stars i would. Hired to move my son cross country . They promised 7 day delivery. Items were late, all boxes damaged and multiple boxes and items missing. These included a TV, two mens suits and a winter coat. Total loss was over 2,000.00 in value. They were dismissive, denied and stated " it happens "
Bad company, hidden costs. At the beginning they are respectful and willing to help. After signing the attention disappears, at the moment of the service they are rude and don't have respect for your furniture, don't forget one single box cause if they use only one box the cost is 150 dolls per material used. If there is a long distance even if they said that they are going to use a normal truck for your stuff, at the end they charge to you extra money for a shelter not communicated since the beginning. 1 dollar per cubic feet. And in that moment you have not more options that pay. The damaged my stuff and they don't care about it, the control that they have with your boxes is really poorly, I received boxes that were not mine and I had missing stuff. You can recover just 50 dlls per box if you decide fight for insurance. And a major insurance the deductible is really high. Not worth to hire it. Bad experience and bad company
I am filing this complaint regarding the poor moving experience my wife and I endured with OM Van Lines. We chose your company based on your professional image and detailed quote of $3,930, trusting it to be fair and accurate. I am a Veteran currently working overseas, so much of the move was handled by my wife. From the start, OM Van Lines failed to meet basic expectations. Pickup Delays & Unprofessional Conduct The movers were scheduled to arrive between 11:00 AM–2:00 PM but arrived at 3:30 PM, then sat in the truck another 30 minutes without explanation. The driver, exhausted from another move, eventually assessed our home and confirmed the original quote was accurate. However, when two inexperienced helpers finally arrived at 4:30 PM, the driver suddenly claimed we exceeded the estimated square footage and raised the cost by nearly $3,000. When my wife questioned this, the driver was disrespectful and even asked for tips for the untrained helpers. Attempts to escalate the issue failed as the driver claimed the office was closed, and the so-called “manager” offered no solutions. Misleading Advertising Your website promises experienced professionals, reliable service, and accurate quotes—none of which we received. Delivery Issues & Damages Only two movers arrived for delivery. They lacked organization, causing confusion and damage, including: • A broken dining room chair and coffee table • Missing nuts and bolts for several furniture pieces • Scuff marks on new flooring from dragging heavy items They even left packing debris behind, despite this being a paid service. This experience was not just financially damaging—it caused unnecessary stress to my wife and family. OM Van Lines failed to deliver professionalism, integrity, or respect
WE LOVE EVERYONE WITH OM VAN LINES.....ALL DID THEIR BEST, AND IT WAS A HARD MOVE FROM OUR 10TH FLOOR OCEAN APT.... WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO THEM. YOUR FINE SERVICES......EVERYONE HAD A SMILE, AND ONLY WANTED TO HELP.... WE ARE STILL "DIGGING OUT", AND UN-PACKING THE MANY BOXES.... WHAT WOULD WE EVER HAD DONE W/O OM VAN LINES!! HIREE THEM TODAY!!! 5 *****!!
This is a ln excellent moving company. They packed our two bedroom apartment 5 years ago, held it in storage, then packed a 26' truck rental that I drove up to California in early May. After OM Van Lines moved in the furniture and boxed home goods, we have found no damage. Amazing. Their packing was superb and their loading into their truck into storage, then into my truck was outstanding. I give them my highest recommendation and gladly would use them again.
Wilson and Santos helped us out in baltimore and were by far the best movers I’ve ever seen in my LIFE! They came in and knocked out an entire apts worth in 2 hours and didn’t break a sweat! They were friendly considerate and extremely careful. They have so much experience apparently and deserve a raise. These guys are what workers look like!!!!
The worst mistake of my life. Broke many big ticket items. Damaged both homes. Held my property hostage for cash. Delayed delivery by 2 weeks. Was told that a good tip prevents damages. Just an awful company. Lied about everything from how many boxes i had to insurance coverages. Would never recommend this company. I would not have used them had my husband not needed a live saving surgery while fighting stage 3 cancer. Just a bad company.
