I was shifting my office to a new building and needed everything done over the weekend, so work would not be interrupted. The team finished the whole job by Sunday evening, and we were up and running on Monday morning as if nothing had happened.
I was nervous because I had never hired movers before, and I did not know what to expect. Harry walked me through each step from the moment he arrived until the last box came off the truck. He told me when they were loading and when they were ten minutes away from my new place. That made me feel so much safe during the move.
The movers made the relocation process simple when I switched houses. Richard was very skilled and knew how to handle the load correctly. I had zero worries once they took over the task.
The move took place between two places that had very different layouts. I showed the crew around first, so they understood how the rooms were arranged. That short walkthrough made the next part easier because they already knew what to expect. They loaded all the things in the truck and then secure them using straps so they wont shift during the drive.
Several boxes were unloaded into the wrong rooms at the new house. I had to go through the boxes and move them myself afterward. This made unpacking take considerably longer than necessary. Clearer labeling and better unloading organization would have helped.
The professionalism of the National Pro Moving crew was very nice. They were courteous, on time and made reasonable security efforts with our property. The team also cleared away the moving supplies they used, instead of leaving everything strewn throughout the house.
Moving my home office was a huge task because I have 5 large monitors and a lot of delicate camera equipment for my work. I didn't want to use standard boxes, so the movers helped me wrap each screen in thick foam and anti-static plastic. They were very careful with the cables and didn't lose a single screw from my desk. It was a very fast move.
Most movers I have used in the past just throw things around, but this crew was very respectful of the fact that I was moving into a brand new house. They made sure to keep the heavy dollies off the carpet and were very careful when setting down the heavy washing machine in the laundry room. I was very happy that my new home stayed clean
I had my things sitting in a storage unit for months and finally found a new place. Everything was packed tight in that unit, and I didn’t even know where to start. The movers organized it quickly and made space to work without throwing things around. A couple of my plastic bins were cracked from storage, and they re-wrapped those items to keep them safe. They placed things exactly where I asked, even when I changed my mind once or twice. It was a long day, but they handled it well.
We booked packing services for the day before moving, knowing it would be a busy day. They walked through every room, though and were not starting until we had discussed the things that needed to be taken care of. It took less than 4 hours to pack the kitchen, and they labeled everything by cabinet, making unpacking so easy.
