The team carefully laid down heavy-duty rubber runners on our carpet and covered the floors with plastic sheeting so no drop of mud could spread. They shrink-wrapped all mattresses and fabric sofas tightly and kept them dry during the trip. Astounding perseverance in the middle of bad weather.
It was a long day, but the team stayed focused until the very last box was inside the new garage. I had a lot of stuff stored in the attic that was a pain to get down, but they didn't seem to mind at all. They worked through the afternoon and kept a steady pace until the job was done. Getting everything offloaded at the new house was quick and saved me so much physical labor.
