The whole moving process was smooth. Crew was on board and ready to go at the appointed time with moving blankets, dollies, straps and tape. They stored my furniture and boxes safely.
James showed up on time and was very polite the whole time. He made sure everything was loaded carefully and even helped us arrange a few things in the new place. Really happy with the service.
My old apartment had about 22 steps and no elevator, which was a huge problem for my heavy queen mattress and the solid oak dresser. Phillip didn't even complain about the heat and just kept moving until the entire bedroom was cleared out and loaded into the truck. I am so relieved that the hard part is over.
They removed our curtain rods from our walls with the floor to ceiling curtain, wrapped them in clean linen bags and stored everything related to the curtain rods in Truck #310, so we could have our drapes hanging back up immediately at our new home!
It was a hot day, and it could not have been easy to move, but the crew showed up early, kept hydrated and worked without complaint. They wrapped everything up so it wouldn't be damaged by the sun, even my electronics, since I brought them in the truck so they could be covered. It was quite an impressive attention to detail!
Overall, it was a good experience. I didn't have to repeat myself because everyone followed the fundamental directions I gave at the beginning.
We booked packing services for the day before moving, knowing it would be a busy day. They walked through every room, though and were not starting until we had discussed the things that needed to be taken care of. It took less than 4 hours to pack the kitchen, and they labeled everything by cabinet, making unpacking so easy.
The move took place between two places that had very different layouts. I showed the crew around first, so they understood how the rooms were arranged. That short walkthrough made the next part easier because they already knew what to expect. They loaded all the things in the truck and then secure them using straps so they wont shift during the drive.
I needed to move for work, and it wasn't a short-distance move from home. Thankfully, the team they had in place was brilliant, ensuring they knew what to transport, where to take it and that all the fragile items were properly packed and transported. I had an easy move!
It was a long day, but the team stayed focused until the very last box was inside the new garage. I had a lot of stuff stored in the attic that was a pain to get down, but they didn't seem to mind at all. They worked through the afternoon and kept a steady pace until the job was done. Getting everything offloaded at the new house was quick and saved me so much physical labor.
