The handling of Order #MV-37102 involved a lot of heavy lifting of workshop tools and machines for Truck #405. The crew was ready with their special dollies and ramps and made a difficult task look simple.
I was worried about my glass items because the previous company had broken most of them. But the team wrapped it separately and even pointed it out to me when they loaded it, so I knew they were being careful with it.
They were able to wrap all the couch cushions, tape down the drawers so they don't move, and easily disassemble the dining table. Assemble my bicycle at the new location without losing any bolts. They helped us do our move quickly.
I was nervous because I had never hired movers before, and I did not know what to expect. Harry walked me through each step from the moment he arrived until the last box came off the truck. He told me when they were loading and when they were ten minutes away from my new place. That made me feel so much safe during the move.
The move took place between two places that had very different layouts. I showed the crew around first, so they understood how the rooms were arranged. That short walkthrough made the next part easier because they already knew what to expect. They loaded all the things in the truck and then secure them using straps so they wont shift during the drive.
We had some big furniture items to move, even though only to another home, in the same building. The service lift was utilized, and shared hallways were protected. All furniture was moved to the right rooms. All furnishings were moved to the right rooms.
The guys showed up right on time and went straight to work. They handled the heavy lifting without any issues and were easy to talk to the whole time. Definitely made a stressful day a lot smoother.
Five stars for the service. They moved my office furniture on a Sunday when everyone else was closed. Andrew answered my call at 8 AM and had a truck at my door by 10 AM. My desks and chairs arrived in one piece, and I did not have to miss any work.
The crew have gone above and beyond with the care they took of our belongings. They wrapped up sofa, chairs, tables, and bedroom furniture, and locked them up for the move. They also read the smaller boxes which had fragile labels. No items were damaged, lost or broken and the house was clean when it was unloaded.
From the first inquiry all the way through the final box being set down, everyone I talked to was respectful and professional. Even when I called to ask a stupid question about whether they would move my potted plants, the person on the phone answered me like it was a completely normal thing to ask. That kind of patience among movers is hard to find anywhere these days.
