My old apartment had about 22 steps and no elevator, which was a huge problem for my heavy queen mattress and the solid oak dresser. Phillip didn't even complain about the heat and just kept moving until the entire bedroom was cleared out and loaded into the truck. I am so relieved that the hard part is over.
I highly recommend National Pro Moving for anyone moving a home office. I have three different monitors and a heavy glass desk that I was terrified would shatter on the bumpy roads. They wrapped the glass in about four layers of thick padding and used special straps to keep it from moving an inch. I was back online and working within two hours of them dropping everything off.
We wanted to move our whole family and had lots of boxes! The heavier boxes were at the bottom and movers dealt with the furniture separately. We didn't encounter any broken items and everything was in fairly good order.
They removed our curtain rods from our walls with the floor to ceiling curtain, wrapped them in clean linen bags and stored everything related to the curtain rods in Truck #310, so we could have our drapes hanging back up immediately at our new home!
From the beginning to the end, the crew remained professional and hardworking. They listened to my instructions, treated my belongings with respect, and made sure everything was placed where I wanted it. Their attention to detail really stood out. I would definitely hire them again.
I almost did not hire National Pro Moving because their price was not the cheapest quote I got. But the cheapest quote came from a company that asked for cash upfront, so I went with National Pro Moving instead. That turned out to be the right call because they showed me the contract before I signed anything, and everything matched.
Our washer/dryer was particularly hard to move and the movers were very helpful with that. They carefully disconnected them and ensured that they were safe for transport. Here they placed them where we needed them, and didn't scratch the floor.
The team made the home relocation much easier than expected. They protected the furniture and handled every box carefully. Everything was placed neatly after delivery.
