DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY — Predatory, Dishonest, and Borderline Criminal
It's baffling how this company has any five-star reviews. Most likely, they’re planted by the management themselves. Let this serve as a serious warning — avoid Top Moving Solutions at all costs. I deeply regret not checking their BBB rating beforehand. My move from Georgia to Texas turned into a financial and emotional nightmare. Here’s what happened: - Bait and switch pricing: They quoted $2,400 for the entire move. We paid $1,150 upfront. But before loading, they demanded an additional $931.26. Once half my items were already on the truck, the deception began — they claimed the truck was already full and demanded even more money, refusing to unload unless I paid. This was blatant extortion. - Held my belongings hostage: With no response from the so-called “manager,” I was cornered into paying a final total of $3,846 just to get my belongings moved. - Storage scam: Although our contract stated delivery by May 31st, they abruptly called on May 28th claiming they’d deliver on May 29th instead — unless I paid an extra $700 for “storage.” They eventually “discounted” this to $450. My total ballooned to $4,295.43. - Vanished with no communication: After pickup, they disappeared. No calls, no replies to emails — I feared they had absconded with my possessions until they resurfaced on June 3rd, nearly a week late. - Damaged and broken items: My 65" Samsung TV ($800) arrived shattered, and my $2,000 sofa had broken legs. I’d requested insurance coverage prior to the move, which they falsely claimed was included. - Fraudulent insurance claim process: Upon reaching out to “customer service,” I was directed to [email protected] — only to find that the company isn't even registered with them. So there’s no real way to file a claim. Insurance was just another lie. - Ballooning costs and threats: My original $2,400 move ultimately cost me $7,095.43. I could’ve bought brand new furniture instead. When I tried disputing the payment with my bank, I received a threatening message demanding I “immediately withdraw fraudulent charges.” Now I’m being hounded by DCI (Debt Collectors International) for another $1,800, despite providing full payment proof. Final Thoughts: This company operates through deception, coercion, and threats. Their practices are unethical, possibly illegal, and emotionally draining. I am actively pursuing legal action and urge others to document everything and stay far away. Don’t make the same mistake I did — STAY AWAY FROM TOP MOVING SOLUTIONS.

AVOID AT ALL COST!
Long-distance move? Just order pods. They won't come even close to their quote, even after a phone call walkthrough and a virtual meeting. Their paperwork confirms that if they're not physically there to inspect, they can guarantee anything before then. They will cost you thousands more and frustrate you.

William showed up on time and gave it 100%. So glad I chose someone to pack the moving truck instead of myself, as we wouldn't have been able to fit everything in. William has been doing this for 31 years, and it shows. Everything was packed well; nothing shifted or moved and made it without anything breaking. I will highly recommend them! 5 stars!

It worked out fine with Top Moving Solutions. We moved out of state, and it was good with their rep that assisted us. The move was a large van line, and the moving crew was nice. I will use them again in a heartbeat!

They worked efficiently and were able to complete my entire move in 4 hours which was amazing. I would highly recommend and hire them again for any future move! I would DEFINITELY be calling them again for my next move! Recommended.

Broken agreements
Stay away! They broker out your move to the lowest bidder and as soon as you get passed off they do not handle the move in anyway, you are on your own. They got me by quoting me very low. I had them double check my items. I provided up to date pictures and listed virtually everything that had to be moved. I got a quote for $4,200. When the movers actually showed up my actual move cost was $10,040! I could not get an itemized explanation of where the gap was and was totally screwed. The moving company was Platinum Moving Services and they were even worse than Top Moving Solutions. Terrible communication, unclear payment terms. The whole operation felt incredibly shady. I've moved 6 times including an international move. This was hands down the most frustrating experience. I legitimately thought I was getting scammed because there is no way a legit business could operate this way and stay in business!
