I loved how they dealt with every situation
This moving company is very experienced and skilled. They have a solution for everything. The day they came to work, the lift was not working. They did not mind at all and they moved everything by the stairs. They packed everything so well that nothing got damaged. On delivery, they could not get the furniture in from the door. You know what they did? Somehow, they got it in from the window! It was so amazing! I have never seen such an amazing crew. I will use them again and I will recommend them. Midland van lines is like no other!

Worst Experience with a Mover in my life
When planning a move, some things might seem obvious. You want to get a price for getting your belongings packed, placed on a truck, and delivered safely to your new home. You might also consider guarantees regarding the possibility of a loss due to damage or misplaced items. The quality of all of the work being offered also matters. Well, Midland Van Lines fell far short in every category and many others. Beware! This company is NOT a moving company with trucks and workers that are hired and supervised by a corporate structure. The fact is that the moving company business consists of movers and those who contract with movers. Midland will work very hard to convince you, if you inquire, that they are a full-service moving company. Do NOT believe them. They are a contractor. We saw two different trucks and two different crews. The competence of each crew was also quite different. Read their contract carefully if you are foolish enough to hire them. Two items stand out. They cover loss by paying by the pound but charge for the move by the cubic foot. They pay 60 cents a pound for damaged items. They do not cover any furniture made with fiberboard, such as almost all furniture sold by IKEA. Midland Van Lines failed to give me a set price. They gave me an estimate, called one week before the move, and altered it based on exact descriptions of items. They then upcharge for that change. We refused to accept the higher estimate. On the day of the move, the contract states that you shouldn’t allow the movers to place any items on the truck until they give you a guaranteed final price. They refused. Now what could we do? We were stuck. So, delay our move? Not possible in almost any scenario, right? So, we let them load the truck. When finished, they said, we will either lower or raise the price based on the final cubic feet calculations. Did we get to measure? No, we had to trust them. The contract meant nothing. The increased cost was $1282.80. Now, about our move. They lost items and couldn’t find them. They delivered items that weren’t ours and didn’t attempt to recover them for their owners. They refused to cover the loss because of that fiberboard clause. They offered a $50 courtesy payment for my loss of over $450 of items that didn’t arrive. Two different moving crews and trucks were involved in my move. I paid three different entities, and only one was Midland Van Lines. The others were all contractors. You will find many reviews of this company, and they will all include some version of our story. Hire a company that gives you a set price, reasonable guarantees for loss, and has equipment and crew hired by them. This usually means someone local. Beware, some companies are NOT local and have similar or the same name as local companies. We believe our move was unsatisfactory due to the upcharge and undelivered items.

Safe delivery
My granddaughter loves the piano and I wanted to give her my old piano for her birthday which was coming up soon. I contacted Midland van lines to move my piano. It was a bit old so it had to be well taken care of. I do not know what they did but when I went to see my granddaughter last week, I saw that it was in very good condition. I think they even cleaned it a little bit. There were no damages and there were no scratches! Unbelievable! Thank you so much! I will not forget this! Good job!

These movers were true professionals
I was at a loss when I had to move a long distance. I didn’t know the first thing about relocation. I asked my sister to help and she just called Midland van lines. The estimate given by the company seemed quite fair but I still was unsure about them. On the moving day, I got a call from their sales rep asking if it’s alright for the movers to arrive an hour early. That was the first sign of how professional and efficient this company was. The movers took very less time to pack and load my 3-bedroom apartment into their van. All of my belongings were delivered safely after 2 days. What could be disastrous turned into an easy experience for these guys.

Fabulous job
Midland van lines certainly knows how to move you! They are very quick, professional and efficient. They moved my one bedroom apartment cross country and they did a fabulous job. They were punctual at every stage and they moved every single item with care. There were no damages in the end and there were no extra fees. Everything went according to plan! For the first time in my life, I did not need to suffer! I give them 5 stars without any doubts! I will use them again and I will recommend them to all.

Invest in a good company
First of all, I was moving a long distance. The distance itself was scary enough. On top of that, I was moving from a 5-bedroom house to a 6-bedroom house. You can only imagine the amount of furniture and other belongings I own. Luckily, I chose the right moving company. The movers from Midland Van Lines were just amazing. It took them 9 hours to pack everything carefully and then load 5 trucks. I was in disbelief seeing how hard working these men were. They only took one break in between and didn’t charge for that hour. This company is just so professional. All my stuff traveled quite well. A few of my pieces suffered little dents here and there but nothing major happened.

Great efficiency
The movers from Midland van lines were just too good. Their packing skills were amazing and they were very prompt. They followed my every instruction and never complained or asked for a break. Not even a glass was broken when they made the delivery. I have to commend them for being so efficient and hardworking. I have to mention how affordable they really were. I was given a low quote to begin with. The final bill was even lower. I don’t know which other moving company is that honest these days!

Worst Joke Ever.
After everything was unloaded, I found a random wet spot on my loveseat. No clue what it was. It took me days to get rid of the smell, and they never owned up to causing it.

I was saved by this company
My original movers failed to show up on the moving day. I was completely at a loss. I called several companies but no one could accommodate me. Finally, Midland van lines dispatched a crew for me. They packed up everything at lightning speed at my apartment. They delivered all my valuables right in time to my new home. I should have hired them from the beginning and it would have saved me so much trouble.

It was a big ask and they delivered
I recently moved my office. As anyone can guess, moving an office is like moving a mountain. At one point it felt like we would have been better off selling everything and starting over. After my employees and I almost gave up on packing, my PA suggested that I hire Midland van lines. I called them and told them about the situation. They were absolute lifesavers. 8 men were sent over on such a short notice. They worked like machines for 11 hours packing everything- from files to board pins. I was very impressed seeing how they labeled each box to avoid confusion while unpacking. They finished the job so fast; it would have taken us months. All our belongings were delivered in our new office on the scheduled date and everything traveled so well. They helped us unpack too. We are still sorting out what goes where in this new office but their labels are still proving to be effective.
