When we got to the house, all my things were completely dry.

Read More I relocated from a basement unit to a second-floor walk-up, and it was a physically exhausting day. I was dealing with stairs on both ends and heavier furniture than I remembered owning. I watched the movers pace themselves and carry things without damaging walls or floors. That attention to detail made a big impression on me. I knew I couldn’t have made this move on my own.

Read More Pick up was fine and then came problems. Drop off was way later than they suggested, but that is not really an issue. A month after drop off, they call us demanding we pay again claiming the postal money orders were voided. I tried to explain that we would not do that and the lady was rude and unforgiving. I emailed another employee and explained we have receipts for everything and we can prove the MOs were not cancelled. They finally realized we were going to pay twice without proof. They sent us a screen shot of something from their bank. I explained their screenshot does not trump the post office. Ultimately I filled out a E6401 form at my local post office. They traced the MOs and provided proof they were cashed after we used them to pay meaning we can prove they were cashed (not cancelled) when in their custody. So they lied and said the checks were cancelled, but we kept the receipt from the movers so we are able to prove the fraud was done by one of their employees… not us. So please avoid but if you do… make sure you keep all receipts including your money order receipts and the receipt from the movers. These people are not from America and I believe an employee was trying to scam my elderly mother.
