Moving company in Charlotte, NC
I was disappointed with the overall service because the process was poorly organized and took longer than expected. Communication was inconsistent, making the experience unnecessarily stressful.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
I was downsizing from a house to a small condo, and Mayzlin Relocation LLC helped make the process easier. The movers worked with me to decide what to pack and what to donate. They offered to drop off the donation items at a local charity. It made the whole process feel less overwhelming. They packed everything neatly and labeled each box clearly so that I knew exactly where everything was. Downsizing is tough, but they made it feel manageable and a little bit exciting.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
David did an excellent job coordinating my move from FL to NY. The best thing was that he kept me updated about work when I was in the office. They worked very honestly, although I saw them working through cameras. The team was fantastic, and they delivered my things without a hitch. I am so grateful to them!
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
My biggest concern was my upright piano—I was so worried it would get damaged during the move. Mayzlin Relocation LLC assured me they were experienced in moving large instruments, and they certainly delivered. They used padding, a piano board, and straps to keep everything secure. The movers worked as a team to lift and place the piano onto the truck, moving slowly and with precision. When they delivered it to my new home, they made sure it was placed exactly where I wanted it without a scratch. Their expertise was clear from start to finish.
