Moving company in Charlotte, NC
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
Cannot say enough good things about them! We were worried about how our newly purchased TV, sound system, and other electronics would make it through the move, but the team brought the right tools and handled every wire and screen with precision. They labeled cables, packed remotes separately, and even asked where we wanted things reconnected on the other end. Everything showed up in immaculate condition. We’re truly grateful to them!
I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
My move was delayed because the crew arrived without the proper equipment. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day process. Very disappointing experience.
My friend suggested the company to me and I see why now. They stayed in contact with me, came when they promised and handled my belongings with care. I am very happy to say I would use them again!
We were upgrading to a larger home after living in a cramped condo for years. The elevator in the condo building was small and had a short ceiling, so the crew had to tilt larger items like our buffet table at odd angles. They laid down protective mats on the elevator floor and took their time easing in the furniture. Not once did I hear them grumble about the inconvenience. When we arrived at our new place, they zoomed through unloading because of all the labeling we’d done. The entire process took less time than I expected.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
