Moving company in Charlotte, NC
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
We had to cancel our original move date last minute due to a family emergency. The company was incredibly understanding and rescheduled us without hassle or penalty. The move went without a hitch and we were so grateful!
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
At first, moving into a bigger place felt like a lot, but the movers made it simple. They were on time, packed all my things with care, and made sure my delicate items were protected. They even helped me move some furniture around in the new apartment. Everything went fast and smoothly. I’ll be calling them again for my next move.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
I moved my things from a co-living space into my own apartment for the first time, and it was honestly exciting but stressful. I had a lot of mismatched furniture and electronics to keep track of, but the movers didn’t miss a beat. They made sure all my stuff was sorted and helped set up some of the bigger pieces at the new place. The whole thing just felt easy and efficient.
My move was delayed because the crew arrived without the proper equipment. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day process. Very disappointing experience.
