Moving company in Charlotte, NC
The movers were kind, didn’t rush, and handled everything with care. They even helped us sort what was going to storage versus what needed to come with us. It turned out to be a smooth transition, which is exactly what we had hoped for.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
We were helping our son move into his first off-campus place and had furniture, boxes, and some secondhand stuff from our garage. The movers were friendly and patient, even with the tight turns in the new place. It felt like they actually wanted the move to go well, not just get it done fast. Really appreciated that vibe.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
We moved from a rental townhouse into a newly built home and had a mix of packed boxes and loose items. The movers were organized, wrapped up our furniture quickly, and ensured everything was handled with care. The day felt smooth from beginning to end. They asked questions when needed, but mostly just got to work. I'd definitely recommend them for families making a local move.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
