My cross-country move went smoothly thanks to Mayzlin Relocation LLC; they kept me updated on the location of my belongings and ensured everything arrived on time. I'm very happy with their service!
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
For a luxury move, I hired them—worth every penny. They used velvet covers on my upholstered seats, shoe racks for my heels, and custom closet bins. They moved my wine in temperature-controlled containers and protected my glass dining table with a hardwood crate.
I booked them with barely 3 days’ notice, expecting delays or high costs, but they delivered. The team was punctual, communicative, and came fully prepared. They didn’t make me feel bad for the rushed booking and still treated my stuff with the same care as if I’d scheduled weeks in advance. I cannot begin to thank them for it!
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
My move was delayed because the crew arrived without the proper equipment. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day process. Very disappointing experience.
