Read More I am deeply disappointed with Lincoln Logistics and feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. When I initially contacted them, I was given a reasonable quote and assured that everything was in order for my upcoming move. However, just days before my scheduled move, they suddenly changed the price, demanding a significantly higher amount. This last-minute bait-and-switch left me scrambling, with no time to make alternative arrangements. This is the email that I sent them and have received no response. I am also writing to the Department of Transportation, The Better Business Bureau, filing a fraud complaint with my bank and contacting the news. I just want my money back. I have called over 30 times regarding a refund that I deserve for contract # 2909790 for services that they never rendered. They never did anything for me except steal my money. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out for clarification and resolution, no one from Lincoln Logistics has bothered to return my calls. This entire experience has been incredibly stressful, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Their deceptive practices and lack of communication are simply unacceptable.

Lincoln Logistics is the moving broker that brokered my long-distance move from Maryland to Florida. They provided me with an initial moving quote that was lower than the ... Read More Lincoln Logistics is the moving broker that brokered my long-distance move from Maryland to Florida. They provided me with an initial moving quote that was lower than the 10+ other estimates I received so I went with their company and paid my initial deposit after reading positive reviews on a website specifically for moving companies. The day before my move, I provided them with an updated estimate of items to move and provided them with dimensions as I had a tape measure handy. My quote increased by $1.3K which I didn't mind as this was still lower than the other quotes I received and the initial quote was given without me providing any dimensions . On the day of pick-up, the movers from the company Lincoln Logistics contracted my move to (Fairway Moving LLC) arrived and immediately informed me that my items were not going to fit in the designated space based on my estimate and that I could either leave items and boxes behind or pay for more space. My price jumped up an additional $1200 meaning that my total cost was now more than double the initial estimate I received from Lincoln Logistics upon signing my initial contract. The movers who completed pickup left several scratches and marks throughout my house and did not handle my items with care at all. They also left trash and used tape throughout my house upon leaving and attempted to pressure me into giving them a tip. After arriving in Florida, I reached out to the moving company to provide me with an estimate of when my items would arrive and was told that I would only be given an hour notice which is unreasonable as a working professional. The foreman of the delivery called me and informed me that I would now have to pay an additional $500 for my items to be transferred from the giant tractor trailer they had been placed in for some reason to a U-Haul so he could easily gain entry to my apartment complex. Upon arrival, I was also charged for the steps it took to get to my unit, adding an extra $150 to my cost. This brought my total cost to 2.5 times the original estimate. When my items were delivered, boxes were torn apart, broken, and had items spilling out of them. Several furniture pieces and boxes were missing, and items that were marked fragile (such as my tv box) clearly were not treated as such, resulting in my TV being completely damaged and rendered unusable. Additionally, many of my items had been disassembled between the original pickup and drop off, but were not delivered with the screws, bolts, and other pieces that would allow me to reassemble them. It is clear to me that Lincoln Logistics does not try to find movers who will take care of your items and only tries to pack as many items from as many moves as possible into the moving trucks they use to prioritize profit. This company will provide you with a low-ball estimate to get you locked into a contract with them and pair you with movers who will nickel and dime you for everything. I have moved several times, and this is by far my worst moving experience. Avoid at all costs!
