Read More Lincoln Logistics is the moving broker that brokered my long-distance move from Maryland to Florida. They provided me with an initial moving quote that was lower than the 10+ other estimates I received so I went with their company and paid my initial deposit after reading positive reviews on a website specifically for moving companies. The day before my move, I provided them with an updated estimate of items to move and provided them with dimensions as I had a tape measure handy. My quote increased by $1.3K which I didn't mind as this was still lower than the other quotes I received and the initial quote was given without me providing any dimensions . On the day of pick-up, the movers from the company Lincoln Logistics contracted my move to (Fairway Moving LLC) arrived and immediately informed me that my items were not going to fit in the designated space based on my estimate and that I could either leave items and boxes behind or pay for more space. My price jumped up an additional $1200 meaning that my total cost was now more than double the initial estimate I received from Lincoln Logistics upon signing my initial contract. The movers who completed pickup left several scratches and marks throughout my house and did not handle my items with care at all. They also left trash and used tape throughout my house upon leaving and attempted to pressure me into giving them a tip. After arriving in Florida, I reached out to the moving company to provide me with an estimate of when my items would arrive and was told that I would only be given an hour notice which is unreasonable as a working professional. The foreman of the delivery called me and informed me that I would now have to pay an additional $500 for my items to be transferred from the giant tractor trailer they had been placed in for some reason to a U-Haul so he could easily gain entry to my apartment complex. Upon arrival, I was also charged for the steps it took to get to my unit, adding an extra $150 to my cost. This brought my total cost to 2.5 times the original estimate. When my items were delivered, boxes were torn apart, broken, and had items spilling out of them. Several furniture pieces and boxes were missing, and items that were marked fragile (such as my tv box) clearly were not treated as such, resulting in my TV being completely damaged and rendered unusable. Additionally, many of my items had been disassembled between the original pickup and drop off, but were not delivered with the screws, bolts, and other pieces that would allow me to reassemble them. It is clear to me that Lincoln Logistics does not try to find movers who will take care of your items and only tries to pack as many items from as many moves as possible into the moving trucks they use to prioritize profit. This company will provide you with a low-ball estimate to get you locked into a contract with them and pair you with movers who will nickel and dime you for everything. I have moved several times, and this is by far my worst moving experience. Avoid at all costs!

I was even more impressed by how quickly they mounted my tv on the wall. I would confidently suggest your company to anyone.

Read More I was very disappointed with the moving service. When speaking on the phone with a booking representative, I stated exactly what I had and that I would want it delivered on May 13th. He told me that is doable, quoted me for 286 square feet, and stated that the move would take 3 days so the movers would pick up my stuff on the 10th. When the company called to confirm my move, the woman said the movers were scheduled to pick up my things on the 11th. I told her I scheduled it for the 10th and she told me the company always gives a two day window for pick up. When I told her I was not told that and I would prefer the 10th she said she was going to put me on hold and check, she never came back from hold and no one answered my phone call when I called back. The movers who came on the 11th struggled throughout- pushing my boxes down the stairs, scuffing the walls, and damaged my dresser. When the driver looked at my belongings, he told me I had to pay for more square footage. Once all my belongings were in the truck, I went in and measured the square footage, it was in fact within 286 square feet. However, the driver said square footage calculation includes the empty space. I asked if we could stack my boxes/ plastic bin higher to therefore take up less space. He said no the boxes were too heavy. When the movers arrived on the 15th with my belongings, everything was stacked to the top of their truck. Therefore, it was within the original 286 square feet so I am not sure why I had to pay extra for more square footage. I wish the booking representative was more transparent/ honest with me about the moving timeline/ process. I also with they outsourced more reliable movers. On another note, I did love the two movers who dropped off my belongings on the 15th. They were very kind and efficient. I would hire those two specific men in the future. But unfortunately not use this company.

They even helped me disassemble and pack my large electronic item, which was a 65-inch smart TV that I was initially worried about transporting. They also reassembled and tested it at my new home, and made sure that it was working properly.

Read More Lincoln Logistics went above and beyond to help me with my most recent relocation. The crew was punctual, careful, and professional with my belongings. Among my many massive and densely packed belongings were my enormous, bizarre-shaped exercise apparatus and outside barbecue. The only issue was a slight holdup in the moving of my items. But Lincoln Logistics did their best to find a quick fix and kept me informed the whole way.
