Moving company in Wood Dale, IL
From the beginning to the end the service was excellent. The movers communicated clearly and made sure everything went according to plan. It made my moving day much less stressful.
Used for an emergency move after a fire in my apartment. Communication was excellent and the move came in under their estimate (I did not go with the lowest bidder)--they recommended 4 people to help with packing. They were careful and responsive. Will be using again when I can move back in!
David postponed my move without objection due to some urgency. He didn't make me feel terrible or arrogant. I really love their professional behavior and great enthusiasm.
Great guys to work with. They weren't given an easy task of moving heavy things up and down stairs in my town home but they were very polite and great to work with. I would definitely consider them again.
Illinois Movers Inc were extremely professional and organized. I had no problems at all scheduling a time that was convenient and they stuck by the agreed upon schedule. On arrival they were very careful with the furniture I needed moved and made sure it was wrapped and secured professionally before transporting it. I only used them to transport some furniture from one side of the island to the other, however they were very efficient and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend.
The movers were very organized and worked together as a great team. They made moving day much easier for me.
Everything about the move went smoothly. The team was friendly, professional and extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
We used Illinois Movers on two occasions in the past week to unload 2 Pods/Units in our new home. I cannot say enough about how positive the experience was on both occasions. The men arrived on time, were very careful, helpful and always willing to please. We have lots of antiques and precious items and they handled them all with great care. I would highly recommend them.
I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
These guys are amazing! Punctual, organized, fast, very polite. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. First time we went through a moving without stress. The best one! We really recommend them.
