Moving company in Garfield, NJ
My move was a solo relocation, and I was worried I’d be overlooked as a “small job.” But Howards Van Line movers treated it with total professionalism – careful packing, great attitude, and timely delivery. I recommend them to everyone!
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
I was going from a fully equipped apartment to a tiny studio for graduate school. On a friend's advice, I hired this company's movers, and they made the entire relocation go smoothly by helping me decide what to bring and what to store. I heartily endorse them!
Solid 5-star experience! I had a small studio to move but an odd layout with tight hallways and corners. The movers didn’t flinch. They maneuvered every piece of furniture with precision and even removed a door temporarily to get my desk out. I was relieved to receive everything intact!
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
The crew arrived with all materials ready right on time. They used shrink wrap and cushioned blankets to protect my artwork, bookshelves, and queen bed. They also used Foam and bubble wrap to cushion glasses and kitchen plates. The final cost included no hidden charges, was reasonable, and exactly as quoted. Very professional.
The move took much longer than promised, which caused unnecessary stress. I had difficulty getting updates, and the overall coordination could have been much better.
