Moving company in Garfield, NJ
My two-bedroom move was handled flawlessly by Howards Van Line. From start to finish, the team stayed professional, fast, and very polite. All my belongings arrived in perfect condition. I would recommend them for any type of move.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
The process felt unorganized and lacked proper coordination. Customer support was slow to respond, and the delays created unnecessary stress. I would not use this service again.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
I downsized from a house into a small apartment and had to leave a lot behind. It was emotional and a bit overwhelming, but the movers were respectful of my space and pace. I appreciated not being rushed and having time to make last-minute decisions. They made a tough process feel lighter just by being patient and understanding. That helped me through a very personal move.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
I appreciated how calm the movers stayed, even when the elevator in my building broke. They carried everything up without complaint and still finished on time. That kind of dedication really made my apartment move stand out.
