Moving company in Gaithersburg, MD
Terrific service from Gerson, Leo, and Dyel. Took care of my move to and from the location. 5/5 would recommend. Well organized!
I had some very fragile items clearly marked and labeled and I could see when the truck arrived at my destination that some of the boxes marked fragile were literally crushed under the weight of other, heavier boxes. Many of my items were damaged and thrown around like they were nothing. These are not replaceable items. I expect waaaayyyy more than that for the insane amount of money I was charged. The guys who picked up my things complained non-stop about how heavy my boxes were. I'm a 5'1",
Srecko and his team were super helpful and friendly, reduced the stress of moving a lot :) Really good experience!
I recently used Helix Storage to store my belongings for three months, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the process of moving my items into their storage facility went smoothly, things took a turn for the worse when I retrieved my belongings. My TV stand, which was in perfect condition when stored, was completely broken when returned to me. I understand accidents happen, but the lack of accountability was frustrating. While they were punctual and courteous during the move, the poor handling of my belongings and lack of responsibility afterward make it hard to recommend their services. If you're looking for a company to move or store fragile items, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
They were very responsive BEFORE hiring them and the packers were very professional. The trouble came when they put my things in storage because they were waiting for a load going in the same direction. I was told that my household goods would arrive between 3-10 days. When I finally had my things delivered (25 days later), boxes were missing and items were broken. As someone who has had multiple military moves, this service did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend this company unless you don’t have items you care about and take out additional insurance to fully cover the items they break.
Quick and efficient. Their moving trucks are equipped and the team that came out was super responsible and communicative. I will use them again in the future. TNX!
Daniel and his crew were punctual, fast and careful with all of the packaging and furniture. Highly recommend!
I recently used Helix Moving And Storage for a long distance move, and I’m really glad I did. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Movers showed up right on time and handled all my stuff with care. They wrapped everything up nicely and made sure nothing got damaged. Moving across states can be stressful, but they made the whole process a lot easier. The communication was great too. Sales rep in the office kept me updated and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed or confused at any point. If you’re planning a big move and want a team that’s reliable and professional, I definitely recommend Helix. They took a big weight off my shoulders.
Mike, George and Fernando were tremendous on our move day. Professional and precise, 5 stars through and through.
