Read More I recently used Helix Moving And Storage for a long distance move, and I’m really glad I did. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Movers showed up right on time and handled all my stuff with care. They wrapped everything up nicely and made sure nothing got damaged. Moving across states can be stressful, but they made the whole process a lot easier. The communication was great too. Sales rep in the office kept me updated and answered all my questions. I didn’t feel rushed or confused at any point. If you’re planning a big move and want a team that’s reliable and professional, I definitely recommend Helix. They took a big weight off my shoulders.

Read More I recently used Helix Storage to store my belongings for three months, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the process of moving my items into their storage facility went smoothly, things took a turn for the worse when I retrieved my belongings. My TV stand, which was in perfect condition when stored, was completely broken when returned to me. I understand accidents happen, but the lack of accountability was frustrating. While they were punctual and courteous during the move, the poor handling of my belongings and lack of responsibility afterward make it hard to recommend their services. If you're looking for a company to move or store fragile items, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Read More I initially chose Helix Moving Company for our scheduled move on August 31st, between 8-10 AM, and made a deposit in good faith. Unfortunately, just four days before our move (yesterday afternoon), they informed us of a significant scheduling change, pushing our time slot to 2-4 PM due to overbooking. Not only is this inconvenient but highly unprofessional! The explanation given was that our move was "too small" to warrant a dedicated truck, and they needed to accommodate additional jobs en route. Why was this not considered during the time of the service acceptance and deposit made? For those who are reading this review, this is extremly frustrating because we had to book the loading docks in both apartment (one we are moving out of and the one moving into) in advance because we're not the only tenants moving that day. When I reached out to Helix to discuss this issue, their representative, Sean, simply brushed off my concerns. He said that their contract only guarantees the move date, not the specific time, and casually suggested that I should just "work out the timing with our neighbors. Since, Helix failed to stick to out agreed time, we had no choice but to find another moving company that could meet our original schedule without changing the cost. If you're thinking about using Helix Moving Company, be cautious. Their shaky commitment to schedules and booking practices could throw a wrench into your moving day, just when you need things to go smoothly.

Read More Please avoid them !!! They are FRAUD. We recently hired them to move, they give you a package of $600 for 4 hrs. We packed most of the stuff before they came... they just had to pick some of the furniture and load in the truck and pick boxes of crockery we had packed. They were very slow...trying to use the 4 hrs package in just packing and loading the truck. We helped them load, hence they did not have much option to delay. We were all done with packing and loading in 1hr and 15 mins from their time of arrival. We had to drive 31 miles to the new place, google map showed us 34 mins to the destination. We started same time, we reached in 37 mins. and there truck did not arrive for almost 2 hrs !!!! We kept waiting at the destination and kept calling them... they did not answer in the beginning but later they called us to say they are stuck in traffic. Basically, they crossed the 4 hrs fixed price commitment, and then started charging $130/hr. One of the strange policy they have, they don't unload the truck until they get there money and make you sign documents. It was a unpleasant experience dealing with them. Please stay away from them....

Read More I did not have a good experience with this company. The movers came an hour later than my allotted window. One of my bookcases was broken during loading. And they even went to the wrong address, adding unnecessary time to my bill. Ridiculous. I also had to pay for a special “box” for my TV when I made the $150 deposit, but they never used said box. 🤦🏻‍♀️
