Golden Glove Movers is a reputable moving company. They were kind and competent. They loaded everything into their open van after packing. It was inexpensive, and they provided me with an online payment service. I would recommend this company to everyone!
If you decide to use this company, I highly recommend you ask for a walk through quote and not one over the phone based on the items you go over/describe to Mike. Otherwise, you will most likely receive an updated quote at a higher rate the day of pick up. The company is not really attentive once the deposit is made and any missed/damage items will be a challenge getting replaced. My experience with this company was absolutely awful, and I would not recommend
My moving day changed suddenly, but they changed their plans for me. They dealt with a tricky staircase at my new place without any problems.
Dealing with Golden Glove Movers was a breeze. The movers showed up when they said they would and were careful with our belongings. There were no hidden fees or charges beyond the one-time payment we made.
When I unpacked my boxes, I found random items shoved in with my toiletries. There was a dirty rag in the same box as my clean towels. It was totally unsanitary.
If you are thinking about hiring them, just go ahead and do it because I spent way too long looking for a good moving company, and I wish I had just called Golden Glove Movers from the beginning.
Some movers make you feel like you're bothering them, but not these guys. Jeffrey asked if I wanted my dresser in the left corner or the right corner. I wasn't expecting to actually feel less stressed after a move.
Best decision I made during this whole moving process was booking these guys early. Everything else about moving was a headache, but this part was not. Would absolutely use them again if I ever have to do this again.
I feel good about telling other people about them because they loaded the items carefully and never broke or damaged anything. Even though I was worried at first, they did a great job.
They handled our computers, monitors, televisions, sound system and our gaming equipment most professionally. They individually covered each screen and put objects in the truck. They covered each screen individually and loaded the objects into the truck. After unpacking it, everything was just fine.
