I really appreciate Golden Glove Movers promptness and professionalism since my original mover had to bail at the last minute. Their rates and services were finest and I will call them again if I ever had to move.
Some movers make you feel like you're bothering them, but not these guys. Jeffrey asked if I wanted my dresser in the left corner or the right corner. I wasn't expecting to actually feel less stressed after a move.
When it comes to moving companies, if in doubt, do it. Everyone was good-natured, courteous and played without any unnecessary halts. It was no fun to move in the July heat, but they were in a great attitude throughout.
If you decide to use this company, I highly recommend you ask for a walk through quote and not one over the phone based on the items you go over/describe to Mike. Otherwise, you will most likely receive an updated quote at a higher rate the day of pick up. The company is not really attentive once the deposit is made and any missed/damage items will be a challenge getting replaced. My experience with this company was absolutely awful, and I would not recommend
I feel good about telling other people about them because they loaded the items carefully and never broke or damaged anything. Even though I was worried at first, they did a great job.
I had a lot of fragile kitchen items and a large mirror to move. I packed the boxes myself, but I wanted professionals to carry them. The movers were very gentle with the boxes marked fragile. They stacked them on top so they would not get crushed. They also handled my heavy refrigerator with ease. I am happy that nothing broke during the trip.
When I unpacked my boxes, I found random items shoved in with my toiletries. There was a dirty rag in the same box as my clean towels. It was totally unsanitary.
We wouldn't hesitate to work with the company again or suggest them to others if the chance came. I appreciate you considering my request very much.
My moving day changed suddenly, but they changed their plans for me. They dealt with a tricky staircase at my new place without any problems.
