AVOID AT ALL COST!

This was the worst moving experience ever. We were giving a price months before and then 2 weeks before we were charged a higher price(that we paid) then on the day they came to pick up(the day before we moved) they charged me double the price becuse they knew I had no other option to move. The movers who came told my wife and I that 5 Star was lies to people all the time.

Quality Follow-Thru

At first, I doubted because the price was much cheaper, and I didn't believe there's some company that kind. But there s still kindness and decency in this complicated life. Great Service!

I recently moved from Maryland out to GA which was very daunting when I first looked around for a full service crew. I’m so thankful I connect with Richard from Five Star Moving Company. Very clear and transparent business practice and quite understanding to tough financial situation. I was recently out of work due to COVID and was able to find an opportunity out West to support my family. Having a set fixed price was one less worry and all my worries faded on pick-up. Extremely professional crew that blanketed and pad wrapped all large furniture and didn’t have to lift a finger on pick-up or delivery. Can’t recommend this service enough.

They performed a fantastic job

Robert and his team were fantastic. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire moving process, which is no easy feat. Moving requires a lot of energy, strength, and patience, but these guys remained positive, lighthearted, and kept cracking jokes all day long. Their humor made our stressful day much more bearable. He even dropped off boxes days prior and offered to oversee other moving projects we had in progress. Overall, a great company that I highly recommend!

Great Work

I used Five Star Moving to relocate from California to Virginia for my job. I didnt want to see the beach go but they truly helped ease my stress by providing fantastic customer service and treating me an my belongings with such care and respect. I am planning on going back to Cali one day and when I do, I will be calling Five Star again. Highly recommend.

Worst experience

Had the displeasure of dealing with Thomas. They added extra charges wherever possible. Was told at drop off to pay additional $350 or they will leave the stuff on the road. Lost some boxes and was offered $7 per box in compensation. Do NOT use this broker as they will back out at every possible step and rub the contract in your face which of course will favor them.
