We were giving a price months before and then 2 weeks before we were charged a higher price(that we paid) then on the day they came to pick up(the day before we moved) they charged me double the price becuse they knew I had no other option to move. The movers who came told my wife and I that 5 Star was lies to people all the time.

Lost some boxes and was offered $7 per box in compensation. Do NOT use this broker as they will back out at every possible step and rub the contract in your face which of course will favor them.

Moving requires a lot of energy, strength, and patience, but these guys remained positive, lighthearted, and kept cracking jokes all day long. Their humor made our stressful day much more bearable. He even dropped off boxes days prior and offered to oversee other moving projects we had in progress. Overall, a great company that I highly recommend!

Read More I recently moved from Maryland out to GA which was very daunting when I first looked around for a full service crew. I’m so thankful I connect with Richard from Five Star Moving Company. Very clear and transparent business practice and quite understanding to tough financial situation. I was recently out of work due to COVID and was able to find an opportunity out West to support my family. Having a set fixed price was one less worry and all my worries faded on pick-up. Extremely professional crew that blanketed and pad wrapped all large furniture and didn’t have to lift a finger on pick-up or delivery. Can’t recommend this service enough.
