Moving company in Harrison, NY
Working with Five Star was great. We met a few hiccups during the move, but as to be expected. However, this is where Five Star proved reliable. They were ready to remedy our concerns, informative about their service and transparent about competitors.
I recently used Five Star Moving for a long-distance move, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Here's a breakdown of my experience: **Services Provided:** - Long-distance move - Packing services - Free 30-day storage - Delivery **Customer Service:** The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was professional and pleasant. Special mention to Tom, who went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the entire process stress-free. **Timeliness and Condition of Items:** All of my items arrived on time and in perfect condition. The packing team did an excellent job securing everything, so there was no damage during transit. **Pricing:** The pricing was very competitive, especially considering the quality of service provided. There were no hidden fees, and the overall cost was transparent and reasonable. **Overall Experience:** I highly recommend Five Star Moving for anyone in need of a reliable and professional moving service. Their combination of excellent customer service, efficient handling of items, and competitive pricing makes them a top choice. Five stars!
Stunning Movers! I'm not great at assembling furniture, but the movers had it done in 1 hour. Everything was put together perfectly. Excellent service at a reasonable price.
The team member from this company was absolutely fantastic. They arrived punctually and handled all our belongings with care.
My name is PhiPhi Duong, I am a nurse working in a local hospital in California . I am very happy with Five Star Moving Company, not only the reasonable price but also the warmth and care that the company support to our moving. The owner of the company, Thomas, follows up with his customers from A to Z, dealing with trucking companies to make sure your stuffs carefully packed and safely delivered to your destination. At first, I doubted because the price was much cheaper, and I didn't believe there's some company that kind. But there s still kindness and decency in this complicated life. The company is very professional. To my Vietnamese fellows: I strongly recommend Five Star Moving Company to you. You can leave all the stress to Thomas and his company. They will surely help you in this stressful time of moving. Unbeatable price compared to May Flowers or United Vans Line. Simply as he honestly stated on his company's website, he is the broker which has many good connections with trucking companies, he did not own the trucks. I make you confident that you won't regret to choose Five Star Moving Company. If you doubt, email me : [email protected], I can help translate from Vietnamese to English over the phone if you need me. So no stress if you have language barriers. Hope you call Thomas now for your moving : 908-315-9219. Greatest service I have ever had. He takes your business as his own.Thank you, Thomas for your care and kindness. Wish you all the best for your business. L
This was the worst moving experience ever. We were giving a price months before and then 2 weeks before we were charged a higher price(that we paid) then on the day they came to pick up(the day before we moved) they charged me double the price becuse they knew I had no other option to move. The movers who came told my wife and I that 5 Star was lies to people all the time.
Five Star Moving Company was contracted for my move from another company, and Timothy and the team were excellent! They carefully wrapped all the furniture and efficiently handled the process. Helpful and considerate, I recommend using the company directly for another move.
Had the displeasure of dealing with Thomas. They added extra charges wherever possible. Was told at drop off to pay additional $350 or they will leave the stuff on the road. Lost some boxes and was offered $7 per box in compensation. Do NOT use this broker as they will back out at every possible step and rub the contract in your face which of course will favor them.
I recently moved from Maryland out to GA which was very daunting when I first looked around for a full service crew. I’m so thankful I connect with Richard from Five Star Moving Company. Very clear and transparent business practice and quite understanding to tough financial situation. I was recently out of work due to COVID and was able to find an opportunity out West to support my family. Having a set fixed price was one less worry and all my worries faded on pick-up. Extremely professional crew that blanketed and pad wrapped all large furniture and didn’t have to lift a finger on pick-up or delivery. Can’t recommend this service enough.
Robert and his team were fantastic. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire moving process, which is no easy feat. Moving requires a lot of energy, strength, and patience, but these guys remained positive, lighthearted, and kept cracking jokes all day long. Their humor made our stressful day much more bearable. He even dropped off boxes days prior and offered to oversee other moving projects we had in progress. Overall, a great company that I highly recommend!
