Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
We had some big and weirdly shaped items, but the movers handled them like pros. They were really creative in moving things around. Their problem-solving skills were impressive.
Mistake to use these guys. Doubled the price once the movers had loaded my stuff so I didn't have a choice. Then terrible communication They don't even do the job themselves they farm it out to another company and you have to hope these guys are good. But nope they are so bad. All my boxes came warped and had obviously not been looked after well. So far nothing is broken but I'll update. If I was you I would look else where for your move.
I have never hired a professional mover before and to be honest I was pretty nervous about it. Russell, the team lead for the job was pleasant, easy going and very professional and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. His assistants were quick, friendly and obliging. I am extremely impressed with the whole experience. Thank you.
Dan and Russell arrived a few minutes early and were very professional and courteous. They took care of our job very efficiently and with no problems. I would recommend Elite Van Lines to anyone.
I booked this company for an out-to-state move. They then handed it off to a scam trucking company that overcharged and had the absolute worst customer service. The driver gave less than 24 hours' notice to delivery and YELLED at me over the phone stating that if I could not accept the goods at the exact time, he would just keep them. Elite is dishonest and does not stand by their bids or their word. Run the other way!
When my wife and I were preparing to move into our new home, I knew who to contact because of my prior experience working with Elite Van Lines on commercial projects for my company. We had a great experience working with them, and they made things easy.
Highly recommended for your relocation, very affordable, everything went smoothly. Dan was my coordinator, he was very professional, every polite and kind and he helped me through the moving process which made me feel so comfortable. Elite Van Lines is the way to go, definitely will use again in the future.
Never showed and couldn’t get ahold of someone. We requested for a Friday pick up got told it’s a 2 day window was never discussed nor in our original paperwork. Day of on Saturday we have a flight at 3pm leave at 12:30 to go to the airport. No word on what time they come to even try to have someone else there for us. Called over 20 times got voicemail one person we ended up getting said they try to get back to us never ever did. Never showed had to pay for last minute U-Haul instead.
I chose this company because their initial quote seemed affordable, but what a mistake that was. By the end of the move, I was hit with all kinds of hidden charges. They charged extra for stairs, tape, and even for using blankets to protect furniture, which I thought was standard. None of these fees were mentioned during the initial quote, and my final bill was nearly double. They knew I had no choice but to pay, and the whole thing felt like a scam.
These people gave my stuff to someone else. The insurance company will not pay. This company is highly incompetent.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Elite Van Lines holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
