Dan and his team arrived on time. They worked efficiently and quickly. What I thought would be a 4-5 hour job became a 2 hour job. They were a great team and would highly recommend them again. If I have to move again Elite Van Lines will be my go to!
It's been a few months since my cross country move with this company. Have a page of issues but most important one is the false quotes they give. Started at $4000 and ended at over$13,000. I counted boxes, measured furniture and went over all I was moving for an hour with Erik. His quote took it to about $9000. When movers showed up a day after promised, price went above that. If I didn't pay what they said, my furniture on the street wasn't going to be taken. No option but to pay more. Please only use BBB accredited movers with good ratings. A box was missing and after notification, nothing was done. Only good thing was the professional staff who brought my things to my Pennsylvania home. Were on time and worked quickly. If you enjoy a stressful move, use this company. They are difficult to reach once they start receiving money from you and do not notify you of move dates unless you continue to try to reach them. I was looking forward to returning to Pennsylvania but this company added unbelievable stress.
I have never hired a professional mover before and to be honest I was pretty nervous about it. Russell, the team lead for the job was pleasant, easy going and very professional and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. His assistants were quick, friendly and obliging. I am extremely impressed with the whole experience. Thank you.
My sister and I had a comfortable move to our 2-bedroom apartment in TX. The movers were friendly, efficient and responsibly dealt with each task. They also made sure to add protective barriers in the trucks so the boxes and cartons would stay in their places during transit. We were over the moon when we received our valuables safely. We wholeheartedly recommend their services to everyone!

Having been professionally involved in working with movers for many years, I would recommend them highly for any job, big or small.
This company will talk a good talk, but will not take accountability for damaged items or missing items. And do not rely on their insurance to cover the missing items and damaged, because they will dodge you like you are a bill collector. I filled an insurance claim in March of 2024 and they swear the would call me back everytime I called.... still I wait...I called so many times and they literally ignored my calls for months to avoid paying me. Avoid this company at all cost! And if you speak with Tony, Shelia, or Kristie, hang up! They are no help at all.
DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. One of the worse mistakes of my life was ever calling this coming and hiring them. From the get go I felt pressured to lock with them or the quote they gave me would go away. Lies. That’s the theme of this move. After paying my deposit I looked at the quote more closely and realized they had left a lot off of what I told him. I called customer service and was told I’d have to wait until Quality assurance called me to finalize the move. The paperwork they gave me said the colony insurance of call between four and seven days. I started getting nervous because we had no more money to put towards this move and I wanted our inventory correct. After having several conversations with the customer service manager, Kristie I was told they had up to 3 days before. When asked about why my paperwork’s states differently she assured me it didn’t. More lies. 3 days before our move, after calling again, I finally got someone to call me. They kept leaving stuff off the quote and had to redo it. The third time he finally said I don’t care what goes on the truck as long as it’s not over the cubic feet. Never once was I asked specific questions like why type of dressers we had or if there were headboards, etc. even though I said it several times that I had never done this kind of move before. Also, on our paperwork, it shows where we paid $100 to secure our move date because with my husband‘s job we needed to move a certain day so that we could get Internet set up so he could work as he works from home. 24 hours prior to the first day that they say they can move you. You’re supposed to get a call with the time that the moving company will be there. This is when I find out that we will probably not be moved on the Friday that we were told and paid for that it would be a Saturday because they just couldn’t find anybody. Because we had to ask my ex-husband to come and supervise the move so that we could get started to our destination that was almost 20 hours away. It was awful. The boomers kept telling us our furniture oversize that our dressers were not single dressers, which I thought meant they were just a single dresser not that they had more than one drawers. Talked over 700 ft.³ more on the truck than was supposed to go and left a lot of important furniture back where we’re from that we would not be getting to our new place. This caused a huge issue as it would be an extra $24-$3600 just to get our furniture. as we stated before, we did not have that extra money. So here it is over two weeks later, and we still have not gotten our furniture. Just lie on top of lie on top of lie. Please do not use this company. They will not tell you the truth. They will cover up their lies with things that are very unethical and very illegal. I found out from the DOT that legally because our move was 1200 miles. They have 12 business days to get us our stuff, so we’re in that kind of time crunch where if it doesn’t show up today or tomorrow we can file a DOT complaint. Nothing but headache and heartbreak.
Moved now 4 times in Florida, and Elite Van Lines has by far been the most professional, efficient and pleasant experience I have had. You are in good hands, Dan and his team took apart bigger pieces, wrapped carefully and reassembled in our new apartment. Items were placed specifically where we wanted them set-up in the new apartment. The move was very quick, but that didn't result in sloppy or careless work. Not a single damaged box or item, would recommend highly. Team comes prepared with extra supplies if you have extra items unpacked or things that need special attention (ie art, lighting, etc.).
I chose this company because their initial quote seemed affordable, but what a mistake that was. By the end of the move, I was hit with all kinds of hidden charges. They charged extra for stairs, tape, and even for using blankets to protect furniture, which I thought was standard. None of these fees were mentioned during the initial quote, and my final bill was nearly double. They knew I had no choice but to pay, and the whole thing felt like a scam.
Dan and Russell arrived a few minutes early and were very professional and courteous. They took care of our job very efficiently and with no problems. I would recommend Elite Van Lines to anyone.
