🚨 Please read before hiring Elevated Moving Experts 🚨 I’ve never written a public review before, but I feel a strong responsibility to warn others after my experience with this company. Elevated Moving Experts presents itself as a professional moving company—but in reality, they are brokers who hand off your belongings to third-party carriers you’ve never vetted, never approved, and who may treat you with zero professionalism or care. Once that handoff happens, Elevated disclaims all responsibility and hides behind a contract written entirely in their favor. Here’s what happened to me: ✔️ I received written confirmation that my pickup would happen on Sunday between 12–2 PM. ❌ Less than 24 hours later, I got a surprise call saying they were coming Saturday instead—no warning, no explanation. ❌ When I expressed confusion and said I wasn’t ready (because, again, I was told Sunday), I was met with rudeness and threats from someone named Travis, who claimed to be the owner. He told me to “be ready or we’ll cancel the job,” and said they could take 10+ business days to deliver, even threatening to call me on the 10th day just to tell me it’d take longer. ❌ These threats were not just unprofessional—they were coercive. This is not how any reputable company should treat customers who are trusting them with their personal property. After that aggressive call, I immediately canceled in writing, and still—they refused to return my deposit. Their excuse? That I canceled after the crew arrived. But I have call logs, messages, and receipts proving otherwise. 🔍 I’ve since learned this isn’t an isolated incident. Just check their D+ rating on BBB, their unresolved complaints, and you’ll start to see the pattern. On the surface, they’re friendly and “understanding.” That’s how they get your trust. But when something goes wrong? That kindness disappears, and you’re left with “smiling stonewalling”—calm tones, zero accountability. 📢 If you’re thinking about hiring them—please don’t. You deserve a company that treats you with respect, communicates honestly, and honors their word. No one should feel unsafe handing over their life’s belongings, only to be misled and mistreated. I’m pursuing formal complaints with the FMCSA, BBB, State Attorney General, Florida FDACS, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and I hope this helps protect others from going through what I did.
Loved working with Dan and his partner. Dan was extremely responsive, fast and helpful. He took the burden of moving to another state off of my shoulders, and everything came together seamlessly. Breezy Point NY to Naples Florida. Thousands in broken articles. Quoted us a price $7,495.00 for 2 bedroom home, ended up costing $16,000.00. Broken furniture, glasses, picture frames, dishes. The driver crashed into my neighbors mailbox costing us $895.00. Submitted receipts for reimbursement on August 21, 2026. It is now Oct 22, 2026. Excuse after excuse given , no reimbursement. They subcontracted with a company with no training, no packing or moving experience. If you cherish your hard earned belongings, this is not the place. Pictures included.

After destroying over $4,000 worth of my belongings, Elevated Moving Experts is now trying to shirk responsibility by claiming they contracted my move out to a third-party company. Instead of helping me file a claim or engaging in good faith, they rudely sent me the contact information for a company I had never heard of — and told me to pursue insurance directly. From what I can tell, this company has no legitimate connection to Elevated, and it appears they are maliciously trying to push me toward filing a claim with a party that has nothing to do with my contract. I hired Elevated Moving Experts with a binding estimate of $2,600. What I experienced instead was: Delays: pickup crew arrived 5 hours late. Unprofessional service: only one mover showed up, forcing me to help with heavy lifting; belongings were mishandled. Property damage: chandelier, light fixture, and walls damaged during pickup. Deceptive billing: my binding estimate was raised to $3,500 the day before pickup without proper disclosure, plus an extra $320 charge after loading. Attempted extortion: pressured for cash “under the table” to avoid bogus walking fees. Failure to protect belongings: my $2,000 mattress and $3,000+ couch were shipped with no wrapping whatsoever, leaving them filthy and damaged. My bookshelf was destroyed completely. To make matters worse, Elevated is now refusing to honor even the token $400 refund they once offered, claiming my honest review of their services voided it. Punishing customers for leaving reviews is retaliatory and unacceptable. Bottom line: Elevated Moving Experts acts as a deceptive broker, hides behind subcontractors, inflates costs, mishandles belongings, and then tries to dodge responsibility when things go wrong. Consumers should avoid this company at all costs.
Excellent, Alex gained my trust immediately, and communication right away that they would be late, due to someone calling out. When they arrived they went straight to work and handled themselves very professionally.
Dan was prompt, professional and his service was excellent. He took his time with our expensive items and was exceptionally reasonable with his rates. We will be using his services again real soon.
They did a great job! They made sure to wrap everything carefully, and constantly continued to work. It was a long day, and we were so grateful for their professionalism and hard work. Highly recommend!
