My movers placed all my different pieces of furniture into the truck and made sure everything was neat. Not a single item was damaged which showed how skilful they are with carrying in rain.
They were really courteous, well-organized, and hardworking. They ensured that everything arrived at TX undamaged and that all my goods and possessions were packed securely. Throughout the move, the crew maintained a lively and positive mood by communicating with one another.
My furniture had to be stored for a few months before I had a new place to live. I contacted this company, and they delivered for me. Their movers packed and labeled everything so well that unpacking was easy. Thank you very much for your attention to detail!
My move involved hauling furniture up three flights of stairs into an old apartment with no elevator. Most of it was large, including a sleeper sofa and a solid wood bookshelf. I figured there'd be scuffs or dents, but everything arrived just fine. The movers took their time with the corners and stairs, avoiding any forced movements. I was genuinely surprised by how smooth it all went.
Since the movers had invested in high-quality packing materials, I was able to relax while they handled the packing.
This has been the worst experience I have ever had. If you're capable of it, I would suggest getting a U-haul and doing it yourself. On Pick-up, they were 4 hours late on their time window. They gave me an estimated date of 8-16-2024. They showed up on the 21st. They had another window saying they would be here between 7am and 12pm. The movers didn't show up until 4pm. I ended up helping them move my stuff in due to having to be at work in the evening and speed up the process. Going through everything, I've noticed they did not give my my pc. I asked the driver if it was in one of the large boxes that were heavy and he told me yes. This is incorrect. None of these boxes contain my computer. It was packaged in it's own co tainer by the original movers. $3,000 PC lost. I would highly suggest finding another moving company, or just finding out how to do it yourself. Moving from California to Louisiana was already stressful enough. Sleeping on an air mattress, buying items I've already had previously to cook and eat with was annoying and aggravating. The original "Estimate" was hiked up another $1400 on top of all this. I'd rather have just bought all new things if I knew I was going to get a shady, incompetant company to trust with my stuff. To add insult to injury, I have emailed Claudia, the dispatcher, and have called with no follow-up whatsoever. Do not waste your time or money. This has been a disaster from the start.
Shane was great. However when I needed to cancel my move getting my deposit back was a very bad experience. They said 10-14 days. It’s been 23 day/17 business days and I still haven’t received it. They told me there is a cue. Feels like a Ponzi scheme where they only refund when they get a new account. To be clear they didn’t provide any service. This was a deposit.
Our movers put forth a lot of effort. Everything was boxed up and taken up to the second floor. Surprisingly, I was able to move everything I had from my house to my car. In my opinion, they are a necessary help for every move.
I had to move across the country on short notice, and I was honestly dreading the process. Direct Relocation Services LLC made it so much easier than I expected. Michael was in constant contact with me and provided regular updates. Everything arrived safely, and I couldn’t believe how well they managed the whole thing. I’ll be recommending them to anyone in need of a long-distance move.
It was an AMAZING experience! This move was the easiest one I've ever had. Andrew and Jameson took exceptional care of my belongings. They exceeded my expectations in terms of cost and service quality. My wife and I eagerly anticipate working with them again.
