Fantastic work, group! Everything we owned arrived at our new house without incident, and the tense move was managed with style and good humor. I was very impressed by the proficiency and know-how of the employees I've interacted with through Direct Relocation Services LLC. Thank God!
Shane was great. However when I needed to cancel my move getting my deposit back was a very bad experience. They said 10-14 days. It’s been 23 day/17 business days and I still haven’t received it. They told me there is a cue. Feels like a Ponzi scheme where they only refund when they get a new account. To be clear they didn’t provide any service. This was a deposit.
Would not recommend this company if I could I would give them a zero star so unprofessional and rude when I booked with them through a company that they work with (Safe ship) they quoted a price that Fit in my budget once they got to my place they Charge me almost $2000 more than what I was quoted and the only big items I had was my two piece sectional and my king size bed and the rest was boxes less than 25 I was moving from Atlanta Georgia to Dallas, Texas 853 Miles to be exact from my old place to my new place it took them 13 days to deliver my stuff every time I called and try to get an update. Maria and Diego had the nastiest non-compassionate Nonchalant attitude and on top of that while there was moving, they broke the light to the ceiling fan so unprofessional
This has been the worst experience I have ever had. If you're capable of it, I would suggest getting a U-haul and doing it yourself. On Pick-up, they were 4 hours late on their time window. They gave me an estimated date of 8-16-2024. They showed up on the 21st. They had another window saying they would be here between 7am and 12pm. The movers didn't show up until 4pm. I ended up helping them move my stuff in due to having to be at work in the evening and speed up the process. Going through everything, I've noticed they did not give my my pc. I asked the driver if it was in one of the large boxes that were heavy and he told me yes. This is incorrect. None of these boxes contain my computer. It was packaged in it's own co tainer by the original movers. $3,000 PC lost. I would highly suggest finding another moving company, or just finding out how to do it yourself. Moving from California to Louisiana was already stressful enough. Sleeping on an air mattress, buying items I've already had previously to cook and eat with was annoying and aggravating. The original "Estimate" was hiked up another $1400 on top of all this. I'd rather have just bought all new things if I knew I was going to get a shady, incompetant company to trust with my stuff. To add insult to injury, I have emailed Claudia, the dispatcher, and have called with no follow-up whatsoever. Do not waste your time or money. This has been a disaster from the start.
Before my move, I had a few questions and ended up speaking with Jeremiah, who explained everything clearly and gave solid advice about packing. That helped a lot since I was doing most of it on my own. On the day of the move, the crew followed through on everything we discussed. They were professional, focused, and careful with my things the entire time.
They didn't just dump our furniture in the middle of each room; they helped us put it exactly where we wanted it. They gave us some suggestions on how to arrange the furniture to make the space look its best. Our new place looked amazing thanks to their help!
I was afraid that my elderly grandmother's antique mirror would get to the other side safely. But no need to worry. The movers put extra padding around it, carefully wrapped it in multiple layers, and placed it in the truck. I couldn't have been happier when I got it in one piece. I can only say thank you to them for taking care of my most precious possession!
They were really courteous, well-organized, and hardworking. They ensured that everything arrived at TX undamaged and that all my goods and possessions were packed securely. Throughout the move, the crew maintained a lively and positive mood by communicating with one another.
Everything went smoothly thanks to Jeremiah keeping things on track. They coordinated the entire office move better than I expected. Zero confusion, zero damage, just a clean, fast transition into the new space.
They will hold your stuff ransom and continue charging more and more money. I highly recommend not using this company! Most un honest and unprofessional company. The driver even showed up (several days late) with no help to unload so we had to unload.
