I noticed damage to one of my household items after the move was completed. I had expected the movers to take extra care with larger furniture pieces. The overall handling did not give me much confidence. This was not the service I was expecting.
Choice Van Lines misrepresented how much volume of my furniture I had. I clearly told the lady representative Jen on the phone I had 10,000 lbs and they still put 510 cf. (3570 lbs) on my contract. They have on their contract if you cancel for any reason including them not getting your volume of furniture right. They want your bank account information and not your debit card so you can’t dispute the charge. Wouldn’t recommend them. Matter of fact read the contract and enter their estimated volume in ChatGPT to see if it’s enough for what you have in your house. Don’t sign until everything is right on the contract. Because you won’t be able to dispute the charge from your bank account. I give them no stars because I lost $1000. Don’t book with them. I had 3 bed 2.5 bath home and they said my contract only allowed me to use 1/3 of their 26ft moving truck. They told me to leave some stuff behind. Never again. Lesson learned.
The movers did not arrive at the agreed time, which immediately put the whole schedule behind. I had to wait around without receiving a clear update about their arrival. The loading process was also slower than expected. Overall, it was a frustrating start to the move.
I have a lot of fencing gear. Foils, masks, jackets, and trophies. The crew was intrigued by my sport. They asked about my bouts. They carefully packed my equipment and labeled every piece. When we arrived, they helped me set up my new training space. I was back on the piste within days.
Communication was one of the biggest problems with my move. I was not kept properly informed about the timing and had to ask for updates myself. The actual moving process also had several delays. I hope the company improves its customer communication.
The team was on time and efficient all day. They were wrapped up well and there was not any damage during the move. We are pleased!
Do not call them, give email, or phone number. They will harass you to death. Ive had at 50+ calls from them from varies phone numbers. I have told them repeatedly I did not need their outrageous priced services. Now they calling after 9 pm on a work day n when I nicely told them that was unexceptable the gentleman hung up in my face. They are pushy, aggressive, rude, inconsiderate, and greedy. This company should be boycotted until they are bankrupted n humbled. Stop calling me!!!!!!
Creating prosthetic eyes is delicate, precision work. My workshop was filled with tiny paints, molds, and half-finished pieces. The crew treated my supplies like they were surgical instruments. They wrapped each item individually, labeled every box, and kept everything organized. When we arrived, they helped me set up my new bench exactly as I had it before. I was back to work within days. Their care was extraordinary.
If you can avoid Choice Vanlines do it. They will give you an estimate and the day of the move they will increase the price 3 times more. Not only that but at the delivery they will also increase the price and if you don’t pay they will leave with your stuff. They refused to take my things out if I didn’t pay them more even if it wasn’t on the contract. After I payed them what they were asking, half of the boxes were open, ripped, wet, in horrible state. They would just throw your boxes even if they are delicate, my dishes got here all broken. Horrible company, horrible costumer service, do yourself a favor and go with a different moving company. Also I don’t understand how there is many positive reviews if a lot of people has told me horrible
We moved on a very hot day. The team was determined in the heat, focused and went the distance, without shortcuts. We applaud them!
