At our new house, we have new hardwood floors, and they padded the legs of all of our heavy furniture before putting them on the new floors.
I create marionettes and hand puppets. Each one has its own personality. The crew treated my puppets like they were alive. They asked their names. They packed them with care. When we arrived, they helped me set up my small puppet theater. It was a joyful and whimsical move.
There was a considerable amount of artwork and fragile materials that were involved in our move. Each had a special padding used by the team. Everything arrived safely!
We had a lot of fine jugs and plates for wine in our kitchen. Their dish barrels were double-walled, and they wrapped their dishes meticulously and no glass broke or chipped.
I have a lot of costumes, shoes, and performance gear. The crew was excited to help. They asked about my competitions. They carefully packed my costumes in garment bags. They kept my shoes organized. When we arrived, they helped me set up my new practice space. I was dancing again within a week.
The team was on time and efficient all day. They were wrapped up well and there was not any damage during the move. We are pleased!

We had just a few rooms worth of items to move from one home to another and that is why we got the team for a small move. Nevertheless, they were on site equipped with the necessary resources, forked over any moving blankets and individually wrapped our dining chairs without prompting. Spectacular service for sure!
I forage and dry wild mushrooms. I have a lot of delicate dried specimens and spore prints. The crew helped me pack everything carefully. They understood that some of my mushrooms were rare and irreplaceable. They even asked about foraging. My collection arrived perfectly preserved.
Choice Van Lines misrepresented how much volume of my furniture I had. I clearly told the lady representative Jen on the phone I had 10,000 lbs and they still put 510 cf. (3570 lbs) on my contract. They have on their contract if you cancel for any reason including them not getting your volume of furniture right. They want your bank account information and not your debit card so you can’t dispute the charge. Wouldn’t recommend them. Matter of fact read the contract and enter their estimated volume in ChatGPT to see if it’s enough for what you have in your house. Don’t sign until everything is right on the contract. Because you won’t be able to dispute the charge from your bank account. I give them no stars because I lost $1000. Don’t book with them. I had 3 bed 2.5 bath home and they said my contract only allowed me to use 1/3 of their 26ft moving truck. They told me to leave some stuff behind. Never again. Lesson learned.
