This was much of what we had been waiting for for months. Fortunately, the people who moved for Choice Vanline were amazing. They did not rush or take any chances – every box was treated as if it contained something fragile. Even our overloaded bookshelves made it intact. A fantastic whole school experience!
I took a 2-bedroom home from across the town and had little but was still concerned about some things being scratched. This company's movers arrived with just the right-sized truck, efficiently packed it, and ensured that furniture was adequately packaged. I got it all in time and in good order!
I didn't have a lot of expectations because I've had movers come late or rush the job in the past. They were these guys though who showed up just in time and were able to keep a steady pace without slowing down or rushing. If it wasn't labelled, they checked it in and all was fine. They're highly recommended to me!
I had been living in a long-term rental and wasn't aware of all the things I had gathered over the years. These movers were not even taken aback. They shifted the bookshelves, wooden wardrobes and even my strangely shaped standing desk. They had to take the things that had to be taken apart, and they wrapped the furniture better than I expected. Nothing was rushed, but they completed the project within the time frame. I couldn’t have asked for more!
The organization of the team was impeccable, and they fitted my very awkward outdoor furniture into the truck. They sent regular updates by text along the way to the 4 days. It was everything I could have asked for and more!
Choice Van Lines misrepresented how much volume of my furniture I had. I clearly told the lady representative Jen on the phone I had 10,000 lbs and they still put 510 cf. (3570 lbs) on my contract. They have on their contract if you cancel for any reason including them not getting your volume of furniture right. They want your bank account information and not your debit card so you can’t dispute the charge. Wouldn’t recommend them. Matter of fact read the contract and enter their estimated volume in ChatGPT to see if it’s enough for what you have in your house. Don’t sign until everything is right on the contract. Because you won’t be able to dispute the charge from your bank account. I give them no stars because I lost $1000. Don’t book with them. I had 3 bed 2.5 bath home and they said my contract only allowed me to use 1/3 of their 26ft moving truck. They told me to leave some stuff behind. Never again. Lesson learned.
There was a considerable amount of artwork and fragile materials that were involved in our move. Each had a special padding used by the team. Everything arrived safely!
I create marionettes and hand puppets. Each one has its own personality. The crew treated my puppets like they were alive. They asked their names. They packed them with care. When we arrived, they helped me set up my small puppet theater. It was a joyful and whimsical move.
I have a collection of antique dolls dating back to the 1800s. Each one is fragile and irreplaceable. The crew treated them like they were real children. They wrapped each doll individually. They packed them in soft tissue. Not a single porcelain face was cracked. I was deeply grateful.
