I hired this company for a weekend move and they were right on time. They were conscientious workers all day long and did not take time between trips. When we finally finished, all the furniture was installed and we were able to begin unpacking!
Fifth floor walk-up. No elevator. I felt so bad for the movers. But they just laughed and said, "We need the cardio." They took breaks when needed, stayed hydrated, and never once complained. They were fast, efficient, and cheerful. I tipped them extra because they earned every single penny. Heroes, honestly.
To move from a duplex with narrow hallways was difficult but the movers did fine with them. They did a terrific job!
After a friend told me about this company I was happy to take his advice and we hired them and I'm glad we did. The movers were very courteous, diligent and courteous in their packing of the items. They were also on hand to arrange the furniture after all was in place. An overall very positive experience.
I was frustrated by how little preparation the moving team seemed to have. Instead of working efficiently, they spent a lot of time discussing what should be moved next. The crew was constantly stopping and starting. By the end of the day, the entire move felt far more complicated than necessary.
There were lots of books, and those boxes were heavier than I thought they were when packing them. The movers were careful not to overfill the boxes and carefully moved them. They also housed them in the space where we were going to set up our library. Very helpful service.
Choice Van Lines misrepresented how much volume of my furniture I had. I clearly told the lady representative Jen on the phone I had 10,000 lbs and they still put 510 cf. (3570 lbs) on my contract. They have on their contract if you cancel for any reason including them not getting your volume of furniture right. They want your bank account information and not your debit card so you can’t dispute the charge. Wouldn’t recommend them. Matter of fact read the contract and enter their estimated volume in ChatGPT to see if it’s enough for what you have in your house. Don’t sign until everything is right on the contract. Because you won’t be able to dispute the charge from your bank account. I give them no stars because I lost $1000. Don’t book with them. I had 3 bed 2.5 bath home and they said my contract only allowed me to use 1/3 of their 26ft moving truck. They told me to leave some stuff behind. Never again. Lesson learned.
The team was on time and efficient all day. They were wrapped up well and there was not any damage during the move. We are pleased!
I craft violins by hand. My workshop is filled with delicate wood, varnish, and half-finished instruments. The crew treated my workshop like a luthier's sanctuary. They wrapped everything in soft cloth. They kept the temperature stable. My instruments arrived without a single crack. That's craftsmanship on their part too.
The crew was energetic and professional in their approach, as they moved from a multi-story townhouse which was daunting. Outstanding effort!
