Our move was set with a deadline, and it was really time to move out sooner. The movers were briefed, worked well and were professional. It was a good thing we were ready 15 minutes early!
Tornado warnings were popping up on every channel the morning of our move. Most people would have cancelled. Not this crew. They monitored the radar, timed our loading between storm cells, and wrapped everything in industrial-grade waterproof covers. We hit the road during a break in the weather and made it to our new place before the next wave hit. I've never seen such calm under pressure.
I was not satisfied with the moving service. The arrangements could have been handled more professionally. Communication was not as clear as I would have liked. I expected a smoother and more organized moving experience.
We only moved a long distance to a new apartment, but there were several large and awkward pieces that we couldn't manage ourselves. The movers handled our beds, couches, tables, and dining chairs with so much care. They wrapped everything securely and managed a very tight staircase without damaging the walls or furniture.
