I was not satisfied with the moving service. The arrangements could have been handled more professionally. Communication was not as clear as I would have liked. I expected a smoother and more organized moving experience.
Running a small-batch chocolate business from home means I have tempering machines, molds, and a lot of temperature-sensitive ingredients. The crew treated my equipment like it belonged in a laboratory. They kept my cocoa butter in a climate-controlled section of the truck. When we arrived, everything was intact and my business was back up within two days.
I found the communication during the relocation rather frustrating. When I needed information about the timing, I did not receive clear answers right away. This made it difficult to coordinate other arrangements at the new house. More consistent communication would have improved the experience.
I had to move an upright piano into a home that has steps leading up into the house that are pretty narrow. The crew had all the necessary straps, padding, and lifting gear. Before beginning the work, they measured the doorway to determine the piano's dimensions and moved it without causing any damage.
Try finding movers who will transport beehives. Go ahead, I'll wait. These folks didn't even hesitate. They built special carriers, sealed the hives at night when the bees were calm, and transported them with care. Not a single sting. Not a single lost bee. They even asked questions about honey production. True professionals with nerves of steel.
They were hired to pick up furniture from our house and move it to a storage facility. The team carefully stacked everything and left a clear path so we could get to some key boxes later. Large pieces were placed at the end, and wooden furniture was suitably covered.
The moving company not only moved our stuff. They broke into our beds, bed frames, dining tables and big shelving unit. They put each item in its proper place at the new house and correctly reassembled it.
Bringing two young kids with us was tough, but Choice Vanline made it doable. The movers carefully packed children's furniture, toys and beds. They also prepared the beds at the new house in advance for the children to sleep in them that night.
My experience with this moving company was disappointing. The moving process was more stressful than I expected. I felt that better communication and organization were needed. Overall, the service did not meet my expectations.
Tornado warnings were popping up on every channel the morning of our move. Most people would have cancelled. Not this crew. They monitored the radar, timed our loading between storm cells, and wrapped everything in industrial-grade waterproof covers. We hit the road during a break in the weather and made it to our new place before the next wave hit. I've never seen such calm under pressure.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Choice Vanline holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
