Read More I had an amazing experience with Charter Van Lines. The crew was superb. Alexandra explained how his team would pack and relocate my belongings, putting larger stuff first and smaller ones last. Their excellent planning and execution allowed them to complete the transfer earlier than expected. I heartily endorse them!

Do NOT use this company for your moving needs. They are SCAMMERS!!! I called to get a quote and was unsure if I wanted to commit, they told me not to worry- I could place ... Read More Do NOT use this company for your moving needs. They are SCAMMERS!!! I called to get a quote and was unsure if I wanted to commit, they told me not to worry- I could place a deposit of $600 and could cancel at any time and receive a full refund. I signed the contact that stated the same thing. After I ended up having to cancel, they told me I would receive my refund after a week. It has now been over a month and they not only did not send my refund, they completely ghosted me and will not answer my calls or emails. This company should have their license taken away and should not be able to scam anybody else!!!

They unloaded and placed my things where I wanted them, but they also made a lot of noise and disturbed my neighbors. They were a hit and miss, depending on the situation.

I have an email from them saying best to worst case is 1-10 days for delivery but most likely 2-4 days for such an easy route….. It’s been over two weeks and they haven’t even reloaded my stuff onto the 18 wheeler that I didn’t know about! Charter said I was sharing a truck with another nearby family moving over one state from me? The trucking company tells me they have 21 BUSINESS DAYS?! I never would have signed up for that!! Today I was told another 1-5 days and of course no one at charter has answered their “customer service” line. I’ve spent an hour on hold already….. listening to Don’t worry be happy playing?!!!
