Read More I had to move my one-bedroom apartment last week, and I was dreading it because I have a lot of books, like three full bookshelves worth of heavy hardcovers. I warned the movers when I booked, and they said no problem, just have them boxed. I had them boxed, but the boxes were so heavy I could barely lift them myself. The two guys who came did not even blink. They carried those heavy boxes down two flights of stairs and loaded them into the truck like they weighed nothing. At the new place, they asked where I wanted the bookshelves and then stacked the boxes next to each one so I could unpack slowly. They finished the whole move in about three hours.
