Read More I called in April to reserve a move in June. When moving day came, I called to see what time they would be arriving and they could not find a reservation. It took a while for them to find my deposit that I made in April. We had reserved a two-man crew and what they had available that day was a three-man crew so we did end up spending more than we had planned. Honestly, I was OK with the three man crew and spending more mainly because I was just so relieved that we were still going to get to move that day. However, when the three-man crew arrived of the men who introduced himself as the manager was right off the bat pretty aggressive and had a pretty angry tone, the entire move. It was stressful. When I made the reservation back in April, I actually called twice wants to get an initial quote because I was calling around and the second time to actually reserve. I told them both times that I had a few large plants out on the patio and in the house that didn't seem to be a problem when I called. However, when the Manager guy that showed up who really seemed quite irritated, even before he found out there were plants got even more irritated about the plants, and even said at one point in a pretty angry tone, "This is why we don't move plants". Overall, the experience was not great, and we were pretty disappointed. My friend that recommended them was also very disappointed to hear of our experience. Some good things that I could say about the movers though is that they did work very hard and they moved quickly and we appreciated that. I do wish that the Manager guy would have been more careful with a few things, but it was hot and he was working hard. But the biggest thing I wish is that our reservation had not been lost and that we would have not had to deal with such an angry attitude from the one guy.

Read More I have now done 4 moves all with discount movers and I’ll never change companies. My most recent move was with Gilbert and Donald. They did a wonderful and efficient job. This was actually my second move with Gilbert and he’s a pro! Donald was awesome as well, and he was very friendly and respectful.

Read More So I ran into an issue with someone else who was supposed to move us and these guys came in handy last minute. John was very helpful and his team was efficient with wrapping things and carrying them/dropping them off. Chris was an expert and you could tell. Only negatives is I was told it would be about 4 when they’d show but didn’t get there till about 7:45pm. I was also told it was a 2 person job (2 person rate per hr) but 3 guys showed up with no advance notice to that. But it is what it is can’t really complain because they were professional. One of my computer desks did get damaged and had to be thrown out but luckily I planned to get a new one regardless. I appreciate the work they did in the end
