Moving

I was moving from Gaithersburg to Havertown and the manager Chris from quality assurance was incredibly rude and condescending. He hung up on me and consistently talked over me while we were trying to set up the time to get our stuff picked up. He also added an extra $500 on top of the price I had agreed to with another quality assurance agent. All of this happened 4 days before my moving date. I will never be using this service again and I suggest you don't either unless you want to be sassed or condescended to.

Arrived on time with great attitudes.

The movers were courteous and professional throughout. They kept me updated while disassembling the king-sized bed frame, wrapping the dining table, and securing the home entertainment system. They consistently checked for repacking or changes throughout the day. A company that values speed and attention to detail is rare.

We had to move in a snowstorm and the movers were still on time and conducted. All items were delivered in pristine condition and dry. Great experience!

FRAUD

Crooks. They tell you it is their van line. The sales people are so nice. They take half your contract price. Once moving day comes, you are now dealing with a different company that is completely ruthless. The movers told us they are 1099 sub-contractors and American Van Lines is their least favorite company to drive for as there are always complaints. Once things are in the truck, you will be upcharged over and over and now they hold your items hostage while threatening you. Worst experience with any company ever.

Faultless service!

The lads began disassembling my TV and king bed as soon as they arrived with their tools. They covered my wall-mounted TV and standing lamp base in moving blankets with extra care. My air fryer and rice cooker arrived like my other household appliances arrived in cartons.
